It uses Kelly’s vocal take but that’s clearly not how the original writer’s demo sounded like.

On an unrelated topic, R. Kelly had a very good MJ impression; I ought to give him his due credit. Reminds me of this song of his which was also meant to be for MJ:

@Jacksonunreleased this is NOT a writer's demo. And not even new either. Absolute nonsense. Funny this pops up when i just updated One more chance on the tracker (including this version) a few hours before your upload.

This leaked in March 2024 after Nick (one of the singers of Secret Weapons) posted it. I don't have the file date on hand but i know it was NOT a reference for MJ. The reference track for MJ is also floating around (albeit heavily tampered) and it is sang by R Kelly (his vocals are also all over the MJ version for whatever reason), not Secret Weapons. Please stop spreading false information.

Just saw it a hour ago is been updated thanks :) Just because i did not knew it was already leaked that i spreading false information no i did not knew it this time but thanks for saying it
 
Interesting thing i just came across. MJ reused a line from the unreleased track "You Were There" (not the 1989 song OR You Are There, the 2000s instrumental) for "Best Of Joy"

You Were There - "you were there when the walls came tumbling down"
Best Of Joy - "wasn't it I who carried you around when all the walls came tumblin' down"

I love when he reuses random lines in demos lol its so random but its like an easter egg almost

I‘m talking about things that are discussed and posted in here, which have very little to nothing to do with an unreleased MJ song (the title of this thread by the way) or an MJ recording in general.

And to come back to the topic of leaks, excuse me, but I don’t count any of those low quality snippets as a genuine leak.

What we got this year, is TYLA, TMO, MIB & Streetwalker (Westlake). I celebrated those and I‘m not craving anymore leaks.

What I hope & wish for is an official release of genuine HQ unreleased material in 2026.

I understand but it’s really been like that the whole time. Sift through the crud, get to the gold. Once you put the right people on ignore, life here gets much easier for sure.

The intro is inaccurate. I'm quite certain that the intro to "Changes" has never been leaked. Essentially, it's Michael's Hayvenhurst demo with added choir background vocals. Also, the beatbox isn't present throughout the entire song. Korg edited this in his snippet. Overall, it's probably one of the best unreleased demo Michael has ever produced.

I wasn't being sarcastic. It's been a while, and I'm seeing mostly positive feedback, which is the same reaction I got when I showed the songs to people in person.

However, I find it funny that you only referenced "my" songs and not the other leaks. I strongly agree that 20-second snippets aren't worth sharing. In fact, I think this is what makes the whole community go nuts over a song, and then, when the full version finally leaks, the song doesn't turn out to be that great.

TMO is quite experimental, although I like to listen to it from time to time.
I haven't really touched on TYLA. It's a nice song, but it doesn't excite me at all.
