The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

the plan was single releases only, and then a „compilation“ studio album featuring the previously released singles

@arisenow Here's where I have a question, and it also applies to @GYWOOM, but:

Is there anything recorded in MJ’s lastest years that we haven't heard yet but that you guys would consider a really good song? Not a loop, or instrumental thing. Really hope theres something better recorded those years

And don't mention Rocker or Boy No, I don't find those that appealing.
Phonecall for Peace is nice but no not really

For anyone that actually knows - There are only 2 songs that I really care about, all the rest are a gift IMO.

But are either Victory or Buffalo Bill actually believed to be in circulation? Is there any proof?
There was (apparently) some talk about some people hearing Victory a couple weeks ago. They described it as incomplete; a ballad/uptempo hybrid, something around the lines of Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now if I were to imagine.

Supposedly, a small snippet of Buffalo Bill played in a discord call, but nobody recorded it.

ofc, take these with a grain of salt, but I heard these from multiple people

It's very much a Barnes production, so it's not really what I would listen to on a daily basis. I only have a version with scratch vocals.
What songs did he produce/co-produce again? iirc it was TMO, MoB, Alright Now, and Cheater, may be missing some

According to Bill, the song was basically finished, vocally anyway. Idk, this track is weird to me, there the Stop That claim, and the I Bet You Remember hook claim

So if the song was co-written by Barry Gibbs could the "Barri Gibbs MJ" song listed in the notes inside MJ's bedroom actually have been referring to "Pray For Peace" instead of "All In Your Name"?

Also, in the 1993 disposition, when Michael is asked about Tomboy, he quietly whispers and moves his head to its beat as he tries to recall it. I say that because he did the same for Cheater (which basically matched the actual song) and another song as well that I'm forgetting. I know this is niche, but does his little beatbox match what Tomboy actually sounds like?

After digging a bit, someone claims that Tomboy was reworked in Dangerous under the title She's Not A Girl, but this post is from 14 years ago so I highly doubt that's true

are they similar to heal the world, what more can i give or people of the world?
Children's Holiday is so catchy! It's the better WOC, lol. In all seriousness though, if you've heard the J-Friends version, then you can imagine how Michael's demo sounded. I'm sure K would like to comment on Childrens Hour.
Is there any song we could compare it to? Something it sounds similar to?
Listen to "Turnin' Me Off" to understand how Barnes worked. I'm really not a fan.
I Bet You Remember hook claim
I understand why someone might think that.
If you have the song, lyrics please.
It's literally just a scratch vocal with no sensible lyrics. The melody is there; that's it. At least for my early HH version.

So despite the J-Friends version being from 1998, Michael's version is from circa 1993? interesting. Im guessing its more on the completed side
