Do we know if many people have "Dark Lady"? Is there a chance it will leak soon? We had a fifteen-second clip, then nothing more...

Not a lot of people have it, and I'm 99% positive we're not gonna hear it until a long time. But then "Turnin' Me Off" did leak on a random day when all we had beforehand was one snippet so I guess anything is possible lol.Do we know if many people have "Dark Lady"? Any idea which year MJ would've recorded this? Didn't he also sing Stand By Me for the movie with the same title (1986)?I bet Michaels version sounds magical
He mentioned the song in an interview from 1982 but if I were to guess, it would've been recorded after OTW but before Thriller.Any idea which year MJ would've recorded this? Didn't he also sing Stand By Me for the movie with the same title (1986)?
John Van Nest should be a good person to ask. He handled all of MJ's demos for the Triumph and pre-Thriller eras.He mentioned the song in an interview from 1982 but if I were to guess, it would've been recorded after OTW but before Thriller.
It's possible Michael did a rough demo before Reiner decided against it but when John Barnes was asked about the cover, he said "I’m not aware of one." Someone suggested it could've been an early Hayvenhurst demo with Matt and Avril and John said "Brent Avril did not work as an engineer with us at that time. He was Tech support and also designed needed equipment when necessary." When asked if it could've been done with Swedien, John said "could be but I’m not aware of it."
Anyone have his contact?John Van Nest should be a good person to ask. He handled all of MJ's demos for the Triumph and pre-Thriller eras.
Seems like Resonate.la is his latest / current endeavor.Anyone have his contact?
But up until 1988, MJ basically was bringing in significantly developed songs with backing vocals and ad libs etc. Especially when you compare the Bad demos to anything leaked last month. MJ's reliance on other people from '89 onwards is very apparent. He seemed to become more interested in the groove and the beat and wrote around what was presented
Innocent man and TYLA are the ones I listen to the most. It's been a month since the mega leaks from January, how many of the songs that leaked everyone here still listens to? I still be playing "Remember What I Told You", "Rocker", and "Adore You" on repeat lol. I spent so long wondering about those songs that it still feels surreal that I can now listen to them as I please, it's gonna take ages for me to grow tired of them. I also play "From The Bottom Of My Heart" here and there, the song's pretty sweet.
Brad, what are ya gonna do.I linger through precious minutes, my breath bated, awaiting what is truly my forlorn hope: Brad's Unknown.
The inclusion of unreleased songs is still up in the air, but the soundtracks for Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody were announced between 3 and 5 weeks before the movie’s release. I’d guess we’ll get an announcement next month. When do you guys think we will get news about an album accompanying the Michael film with some unreleased songs
Hol up let them cookPlot twist: What if Jane was in fact, not a groupie. MJ the liar...
MJ lied on multiple women. The kid was his son.Plot twist: What if Jane was in fact, not a groupie. MJ the liar...
Nothing beats Michael calling his girl & Diana roaring "he's sleeping with me".MJ lied on multiple women. The kid was his son.
Richard Cottrell was his engineer… Not to be confused with Bill of course.IIRC correctly Brad Sundberg mentioned an assistant/engineer of Bryan Loren, who was he?
Is there a list of people who worked with Michael? So we can stalk them with questions, before they are no longer with us..?![]()

Dirty Diana is a fascinating song; either he’s two timing his girl viciously or he’s about to be straight up assaulted.Nothing beats Michael calling his girl & Diana roaring "he's sleeping with me".
I'm interestedThe title is literally 'unknown'. It’s a Buxer instrumental that was part of a DAT collection, alongside Jungle City. If anyone is interested, I can upload it later.
Edit, incorrect: Incidentally, Michael is singing on Jungle City.
What you wanna know?Who knows something about bad girl
If it has MJ vocals if balled or noWhat you wanna know?
All that’s known is that it has vocals. No confirmation on how complete those vocals are or what the track itself sounds like.If it has MJ vocals if balled or no
Likely. All we know is it's one of those songs mentioned at the 1993 deposition. There are also these words from BillIf it has MJ vocals
They were struck by a smooth criminal. :\MJ lied on multiple women. The kid was his son.
