The Ebony/Jet '87 Interview?

This is an amazing interview with Michael right in the middle of the Bad tour at the peak of his career and one all about the music.

My question is that this was on November 13th '87 the same day Michael had a show in Melbourne - so was this interview held in Melbourne and on the same day as the show? If so is there footage of the November 13th show? As it would be interesting to see Michael causally taking and then doing what MJ does best performing all on the same day. And I'm guessing this interview was done before the show rather than after the show?

The interview was actually done on September 1st, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York.
November may have been the date it actually aired somewhere (or they just got the date wrong).

And concert footage is irrelevent to this, as it was an interview to discuss mostly the new album.

Does anybody know where it originally aired? I discovered the audio back when I "discovered" YouTube in 2007 and I figured it was a radio show.

Then after Michael died, this video was posted. I was wondering if it was actually on TV at that time.
