I feel like the notifications are like "you don't click on them immediately, apparently you're not interested in the thread anymore". But sometimes I have to wait because I don't have time (or the circumstances are not optimal to look into THESE threads ) and I am missing out on all the golden greatness, so sad .

You don't have to miss out on anything just because you don't get notifications. Can't you just go to the thread to check it?
