Well, the leak was supposedly from a "Best of Rod Temperton" collection, have no idea how accurate that info is thou since the MP3 itself sounds like it's from a vinyl, so my bets are that there is some kind of promo or early print of Thriller that has it.

If anyone knows where it originates from, please shout out...

Yes - LIML has always interested me.

I have an original LP of Thriller and the lyrics for the extended version of LIML are printed on the sleeve.

oooh! I Looooove the song and the extended version!!!! You have a remastered version of the long version??????????? Could I please have it? I don't think my long version is remastered.
 
there are only FAN-MADE socalled "remastered" versions which do not sound much better, some sound even worse ;)

It's not available on any official release, as far as I know. It just appears to have been leaked.
