Well, tbf, they all had that same cold, even icy look. That's kind of my point. Styles had changed by the 50's, for example, so Ava Gardner and Elizabeth Taylor had similar looks but it was a much warmer look than the 30's / 40's. Eyebrows and lips were not so thin. The lighting was not so cold. The women were not quite so skinny.Such a prickly look
