So I have just unearthed the various tins, boxes, padded make-up bags and furry pencil cases which house my crystals. And the first shock was - I had them all wrapped up in green plastic.

What was I thinking? No wonder the garnets and the Herkimer diamond decided to bugger off. I would, too!

I counted two large and two small glass jars of stones, gems and shells plus some scattered ones

I'm taking a break. It's exhausting. I always forget just how many I have. I haven't even gone through the big Quality Street tin or the shortbread biscuit tin, lol.

I did find my geode, though. I want to say it's selenite. I'm not completely sure if selenite comes in geode form so I'll need to check that. But that's what it looks like. I've got some of them labelled but most are not bc it's easy to see what they are.

My peridot is like one of these little ones. It's so beautiful. It looks like a piece of glass.

plastic- it's fine to do that. That is the best protection for them zin plastic is great . They got lost because you didn't need them anymore that is all , well tht is what it tends to mean

Most people don't think of Selenites as Geodes, but Selenites can form as Geodes

I don't mind plastic in the right context. But I don't want it anywhere near my crystals. And green, fgs! I love green in nature, of course, but not anywhere else. It's just not my colour.

Nah, they got lost bc sometimes I just have too much sh*t and it all goes pear-shaped.

I've had a lovely time saying hello to some of my crystals. Haven't gone through all of them but I've had a blast. The peridot, btw, is wrapped up in a few layers of tissue paper (far too small for the silk scarf thing) and then inside a little paper bag, labelled. So cute!

Yep. I'm fairly sure it's white quartz. I used to have quite a few of my crystals labelled but that's kind of gone pear shaped over the years. I've got a few that I'm not 100% sure what they are but I'm not too bothered bc it's more about their beauty and shape and colour, just the tangible aspect, really.

The colors and shapes attract me the most.

Some really do remember me of my childhood or the places where I found them.

Some of the best memories are when we found some feldspar (Feldspat) or even pyrite glimmer hidden in a plain looking stone.

Yep. I'm fairly sure it's white quartz. I used to have quite a few of my crystals labelled but that's kind of gone pear shaped over the years. I've got a few that I'm not 100% sure what they are but I'm not too bothered bc it's more about their beauty and shape and colour, just the tangible aspect, really.

Well zin it is all about feel ,intuition , manifesting. protector, , ap , it can be very deep if you let it / want it or, it can be as you say just tangible.
it can be woo - or wow .

it can be woo - or wow .

I think it's both.

I just noticed I don't have a lot of green crystals although I do have an unpolished emerald. Only a cheapo one, obvs!

They are in a little silk pouch. Each wrapped up separately in tissue paper. I do look after my crystals even when they are annoying me, lol.

It will help you remember your former lives and fantasies. I have her too.

Some of the plain tend to be the most beautiful spiritually , and powerful so the Desert Rose which zin posted, for example [overwhelming beautifu, example ] she does not sparkle but is a very powerful child o the earth if of course , you engage with that kind of stuff .believe / practise
