We're not a very 'hatty' world these days. That's kind of why I decided to jump in. Bc I knew I would be posting lots of film stars from the 40's and 50's when everybody wore hats. Rich, poor, young, old. Everybody. I mean, I don't want to wear hats myself. I think it's fine that we don't bother these days. But those elegant hats of yesteryear, I do love them.I noticed that I started paying attention to people wearing hats that I meet. Turns out there are some, though not many. I also thought I might change my knit winter hat to something like these.

It's an age thing, darlin'. You're not supposed to know who they are. Aphrodite's Child were from the late 60's and had a big hit in the UK with 'Break' in 1972. Or was it 1971? Very early 70's, for sure. They had a big hit but had a very low profile. They are not well known although Vangelis had lots of solo success and so did Demis Roussos.
