Kopp?

I’m always confused as to which is what. Sometimes ‘kopp’ lacks ear. They also are smaller at the bottom, I think.

A joker: kåsan!

Yes, we have "TASSE" = cup

It comes with a saucer and spoon

and we have POTT (lower German/Plattdeutsch)

or BECHER (standard German) = mug

Larger than a cup

Herrenbecher „Kaffee Pott“ – Inselcenter Langeoog

The shapes of both can vary, and sometimes a POTT / BECHER lacks an ear. But most come with an ear
