I thought WBSS would be way more popular than it is, considering that it was a constant part of Michael's live shows.
It puzzles me as well. At least in Belgium I hear WBSS a lot more on the radio, it was also overall a bigger hit then PYT so purely sales wise it should be way ahead. Though in streaming terms PYT has double the numbers. I think a double platinum is the absolute minimum though

This is AMAZING. This is an organic hit. If it continues to grow it may start charting and getting radio play. That's the best thing we can hope for because it serves great incentive for the estate to release another posthumous album.

Yes. For legacy artists, the bulk of sales come from a greatest hits album and maybe one studio album.
In Germany Thriller is 20 in the second week (last week 6) while the Miracle from Queen drops from 2 to 37.
