The Official 'Michael' Bio-Pic Thread

Cmon guys this is a good thing How often does he blink his eyes, and his entire body language screams "liar."

All his previous lawsuit attempts were dismissed and even the judge called him a liar numerous times. He dares to speak on behalf SV victims
He better f*** outta there...

When I first saw the film I gave it a 7 because of how fast paced it was wishing they went into more detail but I find myself desperately wanting to go again, so it must've been quite good lol.

Only issue is, my first showing was IMAX. Second was Dolby Atmos. IMAX is just a different beast.. gotta be the best way to experience it for sure.

What is wrong with them? Critics score was 40%...

The movie was just NOT good.

I could not believe my eyes watching Thriller and Billie Jean.

The ONE thing I found amazing: ending with Bad. That was an excellent choice.

And Bill Bray. Now people know that there was a Bill. HE WAS SEVERLY UNDERUSED.

OTHER THAN THAT:
IT WAS JUST A VERY TACKY MOVIE.

Negatives: it genuinely felt like a non stop music video where there were very little moments to let the movie breathe. I started to become quite frustrated early on that dialogue was very sporadic.

The script is lacking massively in depth! So many missed opportunities to develop character and relationship amount the family! Little to no interaction between the siblings which I think does them a massively disservice. They were like non speaking extras.

The characterisation of Michael was hugely cliched
That's exactly what I feared after seeing the trailers. Even the dialogue is very clichéd. I'll see the film in a week or two and then form an opinion. Ultimately, though, you have to be aware that the film is meant to generate further revenue in the form of music sales, and therefore it has to appeal to the masses.
