One of the most underrated (maybe because it was only a big deal to us UK fans) moments of MJs career for me.

Very underrated.

The media tried to stop MJ and we’re very vocal about it. Then Earth Song became huge and the media went silent.

What does that have to do with only old people listen to The Beatles? Earth Song wasn't a single in the USA, but Free As A Bird was. Anyway, any success The Beatles had, Mike made money from it since he owned their publishing. The US is a much bigger market than the UK. Why do you think all of those 1960s British Invasion acts tried to make it here? The ones who did are still highly remembered today like The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, & Led Zeppelin. The ones who didn't get much popularity in the US like The Dave Clark 5 are not.

I was saying I almost never see them in charts. Especially ones with modern metrics - which are mainly influenced by younger people.
