But mike didnt say it was at a carnivalI think we might get to see that scene of Joseph picking up Michael and putting him on a pony, because they seem to be performing at a carnival here:

Paris Jackson reveals her hopes for 'Michael,' the biopic about her dad, Michael Jackson, at 'Vanity Fair's annual Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood party in Los Angeles.
Paris Jackson Hopes Dad Michael's Biopic Shows His 'Love and Light' (Exclusive)

Hold up marlon son in rap group??I guess Jaafar is going to be the 1st second generation Jackson to really make the big time unlike the others:
Austin Brown
Dealz
Billie Bodega
Marlon Jr. (in hip hop group M.D.P.)
Paris Jackson
I heard that 3T was popular in the UK. But they weren't that successful in the USA. Jermaine Jr. was in The Jacksons: An American Dream, but I don't think he did anything in show business after that.
That is the "uproar".So why is everybody in a uproar for songs we have thousands of times & multiple versions?? Im not understanding!
I agree that's a risk of such a role!I honestly think Michael (and part 2) could be Jaafar’s only films he ever does.
I think it will be hard to shake off the Michael Jackson tag unless he gets a lot of job offers on the back of these films and he continues to be a serious actor.
I hope he becomes a big star and can carry on the Jackson legacy in a big way.
I’ll be rooting for him!
He said it in the Oxford speech: "But I remember once when I was about four years old there was a little carnival and he picked me up and put me on a pony. It was a tiny gesture, probably something he forgot five minutes later."But mike didnt say it was at a carnival
I'm assuming this means US only - that's around what Bo Rhap did I suppose.
Thoughts? Seems a little low for MJ surely? $52m - 65m+ opening
Oh i totally forgot mike said it was at a carnivalHe said it in the Oxford speech: "But I remember once when I was about four years old there was a little carnival and he picked me up and put me on a pony. It was a tiny gesture, probably something he forgot five minutes later."
Im thinking they might add dangerous and history era songs in part 2 soundtrackSo the soundtrack album has gone down the same route as the This Is It soundtrack (minus any new or unreleased songs). Disappointing, but that's The Estate for you. I'm now wondering that if there is a part 2, what songs would be included. Given how much of the 2nd part of his life would have to be left out due to time constraints I'd be surprised if there was any more Bad era (other than Man In The Mirror from the Dangerous tour, if they used that footage). As for the biopic itself, I'm looking forward to seeing it with family ans friends and expect we will enjoy it in the same way we enjoyed MJ The Musical. But I'm still waiting for there to be a proper documentary series of his life, similar to the Beatles anthology series (something I doubt we will ever see).
I read that you have to participate in a winning game to be there![]()
Michael Global Fan Celebration in Berlin, on April 10: What We Know So Far - MJVibe
Fans around the world are eagerly waiting for more details about the Michael Global Fan Celebration scheduled to take place in Berlin, Germany on April 10.www.mjvibe.com
It's so annoying to me that there's no further info about the premiere in Berlin. I probably can't watch the Biopic on the official release date and would have to wait for nearly a week 'til I can go to the cinema. So, Berlin would be great. But without any info about pricing and when and what, how can I plan anything?![]()
You can win tickets, but it's with hotel, red carpet, yada, yada. But I just want to watch the movieI read that you have to participate in a winning game to be there
Of course. So the soundtrack album has gone down the same route as the This Is It soundtrack (minus any new or unreleased songs).
Nope. Apparently "This Is It".Ok, but no Main in the mirror on the soundtrack list? No Hot street?
Maybe deluxe version is coming...
We had a handful of evidence that there was new material on the way though. I doubted there'd be a fully fledged album but it wasn't unfair to expect there would be a new release of some form, especially since it's usually the standard for biopic soundtracks to include some kind of new content as an incentive for fans to buy. We're getting a $150m biopic. Anybody expecting a full posthumous album with unheard music is missing the point.
Where, I also didn't find anything?! Maybe you can post that in the German fans section. I would not mind the carpet if I don't have to pay for itYou can win tickets, but it's with hotel, red carpet, yada, yada. But I just want to watch the movie. And it's not sure yet if you can buy tickets soon or if there's only some limited amount of them you can win.
Part 2 hasn't been confirmed officially, although a lionsgate exec described Michael as "clearly a part 1" or something along those lines (not the exact quote). We had a handful of evidence that there was new material on the way though. I doubted there'd be a fully fledged album but it wasn't unfair to expect there would be a new release of some form, especially since it's usually the standard for biopic soundtracks to include some kind of new content as an incentive for fans to buy.
Huge miss if this "companion album" is all there will be, someone correct me if I'm wrong but it isn't 100% confirmed if there'll be a Part 2 yet, right? Someone at Lionsgate said it's "very likely" but it's still not completely certain, they're waiting to see how Part 1 is gonna perform. In that case the Estate should be pushing for new releases to get more people hooked into the Michael Jackson brand and motivate them to go see Part 1 rather than doing it at some other point in time. It's bad that the Estate is still wanting to cut corners during what's arguably the biggest MJ release since "This Is It".
You're the one missing the point - I don't think I've seen one post thinking that is what would be released. The issue people have is that this is all the album versions already released many times over, when we know there are several live performances in the film. It took me 2 minutes to create the album on Spotify as it will be released. We're getting a $150m biopic. Anybody expecting a full posthumous album with unheard music is missing the point.
This is the post from April 25 I was referring to.![]()
Michael Jackson estate plot major music comeback with one goal in mind
Producers are trying to unearth new music to be used as part of the Michael Jackson biopic which is currently in production - and have one focus in particularwww.mirror.co.uk
The links are in the article I postedWhere, I also didn't find anything?! Maybe you can post that in the German fans section. I would not mind the carpet if I don't have to pay for it![]()
I’m raging at the thought of those songs not being in the movie , especially rock with you.The unusual thing with that soundtrack, is for a film that is like 2 hours 10 minutes (I think) there's not that much music really. I was expecting most of it to be performances
I think leaving out Dancing Machine, Rock With You and Heartbreak Hotel is strange. Those songs seem vital as a glimpse into Michael's early career as a dancer, solo artist and songwriter in each case
