The Official 'Michael' Bio-Pic Thread

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered..but the self-motivational lines from the trailer..."you're confident, you're strong, etc." Is this based on a fact? Are there actual recordings of his real voice doing this we can hear? Short of Jermaine's book, is there any other source of MJ doing this?
 
Feel like I am one of only a few people who don't watch any new clips 😅. I have watched teaser, trailer and maybe one other video. Don't want to know too much beforehand. Anyone with me? 🥲

Tbh I got a little too excited and posted all those teasers.

Perhaps I should have put it in the spoiler section!
 
I had a discussion with my mum about the upcoming Michael biopic - she thought that if the biopic is in two parts, then in the second part, a different actor will play the older Michael (post-80s). So we have Jaafar Jackson playing the younger Jackson, and another actor playing the post-80s Jackson. This is an interesting thought!

We have self motivational written memos / statements from MJ to himself in the same vein.

Seriously though, I think that would cause a lot of controversy. I’m sure it would still be Jaafar.

I asked a similar question last month:

'I wonder if Michael really used affirmations before he got on stage, he said himself that he never was nervous on stage'

Maybe it's edited this way only for the trailer or they created the lines just for drama. I never heard that he used these kinds of affirmations before a show at least.. maybe some on here did though?

Yeah here in the UK. As soon as I saw odeon has a release date of 22nd and knew about the early access…I thought yes! we’re getting an early screening too, I even booked the day off work lol. Still waiting lol

I really hope so. The new EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert made me want to see something like that about Michael.

No, I keep checking and there at no tickets on sale in Germany as well and no information on the site of the premiere location (uber music hall) or any of the announced fan events. Although you can win premiere tickets in Austria and France.
So no place is getting anything so far 😕
I wonder if there is any significant date coming up, which they wait for before starting sales and all?

Kind of a shame that the biopic didn't include the 1993 and 2003 allegations(I heard somewhere that they had filmed that section), might have made the biopic a bit more interesting, still excited to see Jaafar being a dancing machine though!

However, it's already clear that the biopic offers explanations for Michael's behavior, which the media portrays as bizarre and which led to the accusations. This is particularly evident in the role of Joseph, who is depicted as an advocate of iron discipline that robbed Michael of his childhood, and in Michael himself, who tries to preserve this childlike quality, as seen in his reading of a Peter Pan book during the Off the Wall era.
