The Official 'Michael' Bio-Pic Thread

For anyone looking for a bit more Victory Tour after seeing the movie, the Kansas City show (first show of the tour) where MJ wore the "zebra" pants seen in the film was restored a few years ago and is very watchable and enjoyable. This was just noise on a screen when I first saw this over 20 years ago!

But the hair is the least important of the things that are missing. If she doesn't unterstand it, after having heard their conversation in the earlier scene, she has bigger problems. It obviously didn't miraculously grow back. But, oh well.
Why are you so aggressive towards someone you don´t know because @someplace_else s friend just wanted to know something??? Jeez!!!

Why does the official soundtrack not include all of the songs in the movie?

There's probably people who liked "Dreamer" but no clue where to find the song since it's not included with the soundtrack.
I'm one of those who like Dreamer...I got CD ..The Very Best of Jacksons Disc Two Track number 6

It is absolutely bizarre that not a single song from the Victory album was heard in the film.
Torture would have fit perfectly, considering everything Michael had to go through.
Written by Jackie, I think they wanted to avoid songs by others unless it was avoidable - Thriller and Human Nature being the 2 most obvious choices of his 80's output.

Also, for the film the Triumph and Victory era are pretty much presented as vehicles for Joseph - which we certainly know wasn't true for Triumph because of the effort MJ brought to that album. They might have wanted to keep any songs from both albums away from the story as it may suggest they were only recorded because Joseph wanted them to.

I do think a throwaway comment from Joseph talking to Don King like "we got Mick Jagger looking to sing with Michael - this thing will be big, Don!" would have been a tiny nice touch, and would have backed up his proposition to King about The Jacksons appeal.

Thats what i was thinking too! I was hoping they would include song from the jacksons era

There would have been. If we included every person MJ ever met, and every song he ever hummed - listed by people on here.

The trouble is you’d need unlimited streaming over 24 hours to listen to them all. Or a forklift and a massive lorry if you wanted to own the ‘physical’ copies!!!

😉🤣🤣🤣

John Branca to Lionsgate CEO before signing the contract (inspired by the dialogue of Joseph and Don King):

- Have you thought about getting into "Michael"? Biopic type thing?
- I don't follow you.
- Well, I'm about to make a movie. You know, we're gonna start with full 4K. You know, IMAX only. You know, the biggest. It's time to show the world that Michael is back. Bigger than ever.
- Okay.
- You've seen them sales on Thriller 40. People gonna be climbing the walls.
- Of course. Is Chandler gonna be there?
- Of course Chandler gonna be there.
- That's good to hear. Now, what's in it for me?
- I cut you a good deal.
- Wow. I like deals. But you wouldn't be bullshitting me, would you, John? Cause if you can't get Jordan...

Agressive? It's an idiotic critique/request for something that is irrelevant/implied by the previous conversation. There is so much more important stuff missing and someone can't draw their own conlusion to something that was said a scene earlier? Also it's something that was private to Michael and he didn't really talk about. So why would that be spelled out in the movie?

the fact that you’re still discussing that is so irritating, repeating the same points again and again. On behalf of that girl and the entire planet i apologize to you.. i will also scrutinize the questions asked by people coming with me so that they don’t upset you.
