I think there should have been other producers, as much as I love MJ and Brad's demo's, but I think the other songs just needed more of Michael's songwriting prowess. Some of the songs needed to be more catchy, others needed refining

"Unbreakable" and "Threatened" were late additions recorded in 2001.

"Heartbreaker", "Can't Get Your Weight Off Me" the title song were recorded in 2000, which was MJ decided to start from scratch on the album. "Escape" and "Privacy" were recorded in 1999, though.
