❤️Hello, everyone, welcome to my page, where I will be writing mostly about man/man relationships, focusing on Michael and other men. I have never believed in any way that Michael was gay in real life, nor that he hurt children. I do not mean to offend anyone with my creativity; therefore, my stories will not contain porn or explicit sexual scenes. My priority is to be respectful to the memory of Michael.

The year is 2100, secret agent Ivan Miller was granted a particular case outside his era. He was assigned to travel back in time to the twenty century, specific date, 1991. His mission was to change the course of time and safe the life of the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen, Michael Jackson. Nonetheless, Ivan falls in love with the singer and uncovers deep secrets of his turbulent past as well.

Part 1. The Mission

⭐️ Ivan's Standpoint✨

January first 2100, New Year's Day. We had a giant celebration in my apartment with family and friends. I have just taken a long vacation after my last mission that took me an entire year to complete it. I was now waiting on my next one, which I requested. Nonetheless, I have been turned down before, nothing guaranteed me that I will get the mission now. So many years have passed, way back to the twentieth century, the era of my great-grandfather. I own this to my grandma, the only daughter my great-grandfather had.

She became an agent as well as her daughter, which is my mother. My great-grandfather was promised by his boss that he will grant his descendants a top secret project. That top secret will become possible in the future, and that was to time travel and change the course of time of a case my great-grandfather left behind.

My great-grandfather was commanded to abandon the mission, which took a toll on his personal life. He died in 2058, turning a hundred years old, and on his bedside, he made his daughter promise him that she will seek justice for the love of his life. My grandmother became an agent, yet in her years, time traveling was not possible; therefore, the promise passed to my mother. She was denied, yet I ignore the reason. I only know that the promise was passed on to me.

While I was having a drink with friends, the door of my apartment opened. My mother received my boyfriend, Adrian. We have been dating for five years and we are both agents. He was tall and beautiful in a long ponytail. Blonde silver hair, blue eyes, porcelain skin, tiny waist, nice ass, very feminine looking. I love him, yet we still don't want to get married. I don't know what is stopping us from taking that decision, perhaps it's our jobs and the fact that we don't get to see each other that much. Nonetheless, when we do, we **** like there's no tomorrow. He glanced in my direction and bit his lip. He kissed my mother on the cheek and proceeded to approach me. Not only that, but he was stunning, everywhere he goes he turns faces.

"Hey, gorgeous." He said as I received him in my arms, feeling his smaller frame against my brute body size. He put his over my neck and patted my lips.

"Hey, baby, I'm glad you made it." I voiced. He let go of me and grabbed my hand. "Guys, I have to speak to my man privately." They just smiled. I wonder what could be so private. We are not going to make out when family is around. He pulled me into my office and closed the door behind him, locking it.

"What is it, why you brought me here so secretly?" He smirked and replied, "you got the mission you requested, tough guy." I dropped my jaw, I couldn't believe him.

"Are you serious?"

"Why would I be playing with this mission, knowing what it means to your family? Babe, our boss has granted you the mission, and you are going to time travel as soon as possible." I was speechless, "how did you do it?" That was not a clever question, the new boss was Adrian's father. The previous one did not give it much importance, more so, it had something to do with his ego. I'm glad that Adrian's father took over, things will be managed better with his administration.

"Daddy is a reasonable man." He smiled and folded his arms. Now, I will be your contact, assisting you with everything you need— isn't that wonderful?" I smiled.

"Of course, dear." I wasn't that thrilled, my love for him was not as strong as I thought it was. He's a wonderful person, and there are moments when I feel bad because our relationship has been all about sex. I care for him though, and I will do anything for him, but I can't love him the way he deserves.

"Your mom, will be so happy." He pointed out.

"Yes, she will be. This case has been cold for three generations back to my family tree. Honestly, I'm not very knowledgeable about the story of my great-grandfather and the love of his life. I only know who he was, the greatest entertainer that ever lived." He frowned, and said, "really? That's odd, being his descendant, you should know more." The fact is, he does something to me, I can't explain. I mean Michael, the greatest entertainer that ever lived. A man who has been dead for 90 years. He gives me a feeling that I don't dare to mention to anyone, for they are going to assume that I'm crazy. He's the reason I can't fall in love. It's disturbing, and I hate feeling this way.

"Yeah, I should know more, yet none of us does, not even my grandmother nor my mom." I said after snapping out of my thoughts. He then smiled and replied.

"Well, now is the perfect moment to sit and review the file. I will send you the code for the files, you know what to do next. In two days you will travel back in time to November 12, 1991, Los Angeles, California."

Later that night, after the new year's celebration, I knew I had to tell my mother; therefore, I waited until everyone left. "Mother, before you leave, we have to talk." My youngest sister was there as well, she was going to drive her home.

"Yes, honey, what is it?"

"Mother, I got the mission... the mission that my great-grandfather wanted so desperately." She stood there for a moment, processing what I had said. She then covered her mouth as tears streamed down her face.

"Oh, Ivan— I thought I would never see this happen. I don't know what to say."

"Say that you're happy that my great-grandfather will finally rest in peace."

Something was odd, she didn't seem to be that happy, the look in her eyes and her hesitation to reply. Could it be that she wasn't happy? "Mother, what's wrong? You don't seem happy."

"Oh— don't get me wrong, my dear. I— am happy— I'm just downhearted. You are probably leaving as soon as possible, and you will be away for so long—and I don't know if I will see you again." I frowned, it was odd that she would believe in such a thing.

"Mother, it's only a mission to travel back in time. I am not staying in an era I don't belong to. Of course, you will see me again. We owe this to my great-grandfather." She stroked my cheek and wiped her tears. "Of course, my dear... don't mind me... I am happy—and, when are you leaving?"

"In two days." I responded as she crocked a smile. Something's off, I feel it. Yet, if she's reluctant to speak about it, I cannot force her. "It's your destiny, my child. You were born to have this mission. I wish you the best, and do comeback to visit me whenever you can." Odd behavior, yet, I will not say more. I kissed her forehead and my sister gave me a strong hug.

"I'm happy that you got this mission, bro, congratulations, grandpa in heaven will be so proud of you."

I had two days to myself analyzing the case sitting in my office staring at my laptop. His image is not something new to me. After so many years, his music is still relevant, and yes, the rumor that destroyed his image as well. Nonetheless, through the years, there are more people who believe in his innocence. It doesn't matter anymore. However, this is something that I must do for my great-grandfather. I have to change history and save his life. I was there, lost, gazing at his beautiful face. Furthermore, I will not lie to myself, I was anxious to meet him in person.

I had to close my laptop and meet with Adrian at the agency, I was time to travel back in time.

I deactivated my A1 my cyborg within me, I was going to be away for a long period of time. Locked the door of my apartment and headed to the garage. I got into my vehicle and flew to the agency. Once at headquarters, the safety system at the door scanned my irises and allowed me in. Adrian was there waiting for me, he drew closer and patted my lips.

"Ready for your journey, tough guy?" Something was off with him as well, I noticed it since he gave me the news of my new mission. We didn't spend the two days together, in fact, we have been so busy with our work that we haven't had time for us. Nonetheless, it is nothing new in our relationship. We have been this way for so long. But now, I do notice his sadness.

"Are you okay?" I had to ask.

"Yes— why wouldn't I be okay?" He perceived that I noticed that something was up, and therefore he attempted to appear as if nothing was wrong.

"You seem sad." I pointed out.

"Really? No, no— it's only in your mind, babe."

"Come on, Adrian, I know you very well. What is it?" He remained reluctant to admit the issue. Perhaps, it was inappropriate to force him about something he is not willing to talk about at this moment.

"We will talk about this when you return from your mission. What matters the most, is the mission. Come, let us go to the lab.

"Are you aware of how long this mission will take?" He stopped in his tracks and glared at me. "I am aware— now come with me." We reached the lab and walked inside, I knew what was the next procedure. I was to be updated with the case as I sat on the quantum chair that connected my brain to merge with the artificial intelligence through a microchip integrated in my temples. As I was sitting, Adrian proceeded to bring down the helmet that covered my head. As I lay back, Adrian operated the quantum and I stared to merge into my other me. My AI half human, half robot, where I was able to time travel with just a command. Yes, in this era, technology was truly advanced.

After twenty-five minutes, I was done and ready to go. We walked into another room, a weapon room, where I took a suitcase with all I needed to defend myself, and of course, my motorcycle.

"You have to be cautious with this technology, Ivan. The singer and no one in that era must not see this technology." I eyed him, somehow annoyed. Of course, I know this. "Babe, trust me, I know, yet, I'm traveling by motorcycle."

"No way, you cannot travel to the past with a 2100 model. You are traveling with this other."

I fallowed him to the garage, and he guided me to a Harley-Davidson 2000 Electra-the classic with a passenger seat. I dropped my jaw, it was a beauty, silver and red.

"It's gorgeous! But— how the heck you drive this machine?" He smirked and replied, "come on, babe, let us go for a ride." Nonetheless, I drove as he guided me. We went around the block and came back. I had to leave as soon as possible as he indicated; therefore, we went back inside, and he brought me my suitcase, and placed it on the back of the motorcycle. He kissed my cheek and said.

"Alright— now set your time to September first 1991, 1200, Rodeo Dr. Studio City, California. Once you're there, report yourself to me." He kissed me on the cheek and once again, I felt odd, I don't know what was happening to me, perhaps it was the emotion of going back in time to find Michael. This feeling was above everything.

"Take care, darling." He voiced, and I touched my right temple, as I did, I commanded the time and year, once I did, I touched my quantum pendant, a necklace I carry on my neck. Soon, a blue light started circling over my body and the motorcycle until it covered me, afterwards I disappeared. After a minute, I opened my eyes to find myself in front of an apartment building. I glanced to my right and to my left and I also glanced at my wrist to touched my bracelet and my holographic cellphone appeared over my skin. In my cell phone the date appeared, it read, September first 1991. I dialed Adrian, and he responded right away.

"I am in." I voiced.

"Alright, is everything okay? You appeared at the right place and right time?"

"I did."

"Okay, tough guy; now get yourself a place to stay for the night. There's a fancy hotel building right across the apartment building where the singer resides. You have to find a way to enter the singer's life as soon as possible. I have to leave you, I will get back to you." I ended the call and glanced at my surroundings just to make sure that I wasn't seen. The coast was clear, and then I glanced at my bracelet to check the time, it read 09-01-1991, 2:00 am. At this hour, there wasn't any traffic nor any people out on the streets.

I glanced towards the apartment building where the singer resided, how the heck I was to enter his life? I took a deep breath and glanced to my left. The hotel Adrian mentioned was there; therefore, I crossed the street to go into the hotel parking lot to get a room. I have to change clothes, I can't walk around the city with this type of clothing, it would bring a lot of attention to the people around me. Nonetheless, I did not bring anything with me but what I have on, my suitcase and my motorcycle. Once there, I decided to use the valet parking. As I drove to the front of the hotel, a valet man assisted me. He eyed me from head to toes, I know I was weird looking for this era. Just by the way, I was dressed, long leather jacket with silver buttons and zippers, black mate pants with a silver belt, a silver shirt. Blonde with a comb over hairstyle, green eyes, and with a mean expression.

I gabbed my belongings and the man took my motorcycle. I knew that in this era I would have to carry cash with me all the time. Therefore, I took a twenty dollar bill from my jacket and tipped the guy. Furthermore, I carried a small man bag where I carried my personal stuff and money and credit cards. In my era, we don't use change, bills nor credit cards. I just scan my wrist and everything is paid that way, money is filthy.

I entered the lobby and walked to the front registry and asked for a room. The lady asked me for my information and I opened my man bag to pull my false identification. She was a bit flirty as she asked if I was a model. I replied with the truth, saying that I wasn't. I have given her a formal identification because I, couldn't give away my true identity to anyone. She handed me a key and I took it, I didn't know what to do. I suppose to open the door of my room. In my era, we don't use keys, we use a code. But anyway, I'm in the early nineties. The key had a room number as she said, "eight floor to your right."

"Thank you, I said and before leaving, I asked her a question. "Hey— I'm- do you know where to find a nice store to buy men's clothing?"

"Oh, of course— just a block away, you will find a nice store. This is a good neighborhood, Michael Jackson lives in the building just across the street. People say that they have seen him take a walk around the building at very late hours of the night." Wow, that's interesting. I thought. I graded keys and headed to the elevator. Once in the room, I glanced through the window and drew closer to appreciate the city lights. I stood there for a moment, inhaling the night air when suddenly, I noticed a slim figure through the night. Someone was taking a walk this late. My heart raised, could it be that what the lady said was true? I will not let this chance pass, I have to see it for myself; therefore, I got ready to leave the room. I never leave without my weapons; therefore, I loaded up and headed to the street.

My heart pounded uncontrollably, I was anxious to find myself in front of what it has always been my obsession. It is odd to feel this way over a man who's been dead for 90 years. On the other hand, he was no ordinary man, he was the biggest entertainer, the most successful that's ever been and the most beautiful. Chill, Ivan, just breathe' I said to myself. I closed the door of my room and rushed to the elevator. Once on the first floor, I reached the main entrance and rushed outside. I crossed the street and from there I caught a glimpse of his silhouette through the night. I had to hurry and catch up, at the same time, I was aware that I could be wrong, and it may not be the singer after all. As I got closer, I started to notice that slender figure, it's him, there's no doubt.

Now I have to approach him carefully without frightening him. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark blue jeans with those incomparable, yes, it is him. I was careful not to get too close this quickly, last thing I wanted was for him to freak out. While I kept trailing him at a considerable distance, I received a call from Adrian. I reduced my pace, being cautious with my conversation with Adrian.

"Hello..."

"Ivan! Where are you at this moment?"

I prefer not tell him the truth that I was stalking the singer because someone told me that they have seen him taking walks this late at night. "I'm in my suite, what's going on? You seem stressed."

"I am... Ivan, something came up. I was granted with your great-grandfather's personal diary, in it, relates the night when someone attempted to kidnap the singer."

"What? Dammit, Adrian, you tell me this now?"

"I have just received this file, Ivan, trust me, if I had gotten this information earlier, I would've let you know as soon as possible. Now listen, according to my calculations, this is the night when the singer is going to be attacked.

"What? No— I am not going to allow this to happen!" I lowered my tone, the singer could have heard me, and so he did, as he noticed my presence, he picked up his pace. Poor thing, he must know that I am not here to hurt him.

"Of course not, Ivan. You have to change this event and save him from this attempt to secure your way in into his life."

"Clever move... nonetheless, I need to know what happened to Michael this night, does he get targeted by his kidnappers?

"No he does not, your great-grandfather saved him. On this night, your great-grandfather, and the singer met for the first time. His mission was to spy on him for the government; therefore, he was hired to become his bodyguard. Your mission is to get your great-grandfather out of the way... they must not fall in love." My heart pounded with emotions, I never met him and now, I was going to see my grate-grandfather in person, and young.

"Ivan, listen to me, they must not see each other, otherwise, changing the course of time will not be possible... understand?"

"I understand, Adrian— I must go now. The singer has taken a walk this late."

"Ivan, a white van will appear, nonetheless, a motorcyclist will appear out of nowhere to try to finish the job. Be alert, soon your-grandfather will appear, do this before him."

"Got it... call you later." I ended the call and proceeded to trail the singer.

⭐Ivan's Standpoint ✨

OK, guys, sorry for the confusion, this is chapter 2🌟

November 12, 1991

The singer increased his pace as he perceived my presence trailing just behind. From my perception, he appeared frightened, and for a good reason, for I was a complete stranger and he was walking all alone on a not well illuminated sidewalk of the street. I proceed to command my inner CI—Cyborg Intelligence—within me to acknowledge the time, and the information appeared in my vision similar to a screen.

My half-human and half-robot allowed me to shift between both; therefore, I went ahead and increased my pace and closed in on him. He was fast, nonetheless, no human being can be faster than I. I knew I had to come up with a perfect story to introduce myself and not frighten him... I got this... I know it will work... here I go.

"Mr. Jackson, please, do not fear me. I'm not going to hurt you." Dammit, what the hell is wrong with me? That was a terrible approach; this is not good. Therefore, he picked up speed nervously. Dammit, I have to come up with something more convincing... here it goes...

"Mr. Jackson, I'm the new security guard in your apartment building. I noticed that you left the building, and I didn't hesitate to come to your aid. Sir, it is not safe to walk this late at night." Suddenly, he stopped. Dammit... I almost bumped into him; I had to stop abruptly, fearing that I could hurt him.

He wasn't a short man; I was the one far too tall and well-built. On the other hand, he appeared to have a fair height; nonetheless, he seemed quite thin. I could easily destroy him.

"I... have not..." he voiced and paused for a moment as we eyed each other. He appeared to be in shock, as if he had seen a ghost. As for me, a weird feeling invaded my chest.
A feeling that I have never experienced in my entire life. Of course, I knew how attractive this man was. I have seen thousands of images of him online, yet nothing compared to the feeling of having him standing before me; his beauty was unbelievable.

What captivated me the most was his eyes... Oh, man, I have never seen anything like it before. After a moment lost in my awe, he finally came up with some words.

"I have not seen you around ... How do I know you are not lying?" This is ridiculous. What's wrong with me? I must control my emotions and show professionalism; therefore, I responded wisely.

"I was recently hired, sir, and showed up for work when I noticed that you stepped out of the premises this late; therefore I didn't hesitate to come after you and assure myself that you're going to be safe. Please, Mr. Jackson, allow me to give you my company as you walk." He pursed his lips, appearing a bit tense, but he allowed me to accompany him.

"Umm... alright, I will take the risk, but don't make me regret it."

"Of course, you will not regret it, sir." I said, and we both continued the walk back to the building.

I took the side to his left towards the side of the street, with my mind set on the moment when the attackers would appear. And I had another thing to worry about: my great-grandfather. A minute passed as we continued our walk; he didn't speak a single word. Therefore, I had to initiate a conversation.

"This is not good, Mr. Jackson. You are the most successful entertainer in the world; taking walks in the middle of the night is extremely dangerous. I wonder, where is your security staff?" He then smirked and replied.

"No matter how professional they could be. I always find a way to outsmart them."

"And by doing so, you put yourself in danger, sir." I replied, and he smirked once again and said, "Sometimes I enjoy a little adrenaline in my boring life."

Boring life? How can a man with his amazing talent and fame consider his life boring? While I was in my thoughts, he diverted the conversation.

"By the way, what's your name?" At that moment, the light of the pole captured the beauty of his face, illuminating it. It took my breath away, and for a moment I couldn't pronounce a single word. He smiled and voiced.

"Do you have a name, stranger?"

“My name is... Ivan Miller," I responded, feeling powerless and uncertain, but why? What was going on with me?

"Damn, you're tall." He pointed out as he smiled. Gorgeous smile, by the way, so amazingly beautiful. As we turned the block, I captured a tall man around the other corner of the block with my cyborg senses. Soon, I identified the man with a command. It was my great-grandfather. Dammit... I must come up with something quickly; they cannot meet! I did not respond when he pointed out my height; therefore, he continued.

"How tall are you, Mr. Miller?" I reduced my speed as I touched his shoulder. "Let us slow down our pace, and I will answer your question." He slowed down, and so I continued.

"I'm six four, sir."

"Woah... you are taller than all my security men. You shouldn't be a building security guard; you should be in my security staff." He smiled.

"I would love that." I replied, and so, he continued, but I didn't pay attention. I was focused on scanning the distances and commanding my AI for upcoming danger. As I did, my AI did alert me of danger. "Danger! Intruder approaching!"

"Mr. Jackson, listen to me carefully and remain calm. Stay close to me because we will be hit."

"What? Oh my God, I shouldn't have trusted you!"

The first thing I asked him to do was to remain calm, and he did not; therefore, he attempted to take off running, but I held his arm tightly and pulled him back into me.

"Mr. Jackson, you must trust me. Do what I say, and we both be okay. Now, a white van around the corner behind us is approaching slowly. Stay next to me; I will protect you." I voiced calmly.

"What? A white van around the corner?!" He glanced towards his left shoulder and noticed the van. Fear took over that beautiful pair of eyes. "But... how do you know they want to hurt us?!"

"I know, trust me, please, and you must follow my instructions. Do not attempt to take off running, please, Mr. Jackson. Trust me, I will save you from this ordeal." His fear was evident; his eyes were wide open as he glanced behind us and voiced, breathing heavily.

"Okay... okay, I will trust you."

"Don't look back and remain calm. Follow my instructions at every moment." At that moment, I tracked the upcoming van.

"It's approaching us; stay behind me." I voiced, as he laid out a fearful plea.

"Oh, my God, please help us!" I felt his grip on my arm as I made a quick turn to face the van. The van picked up speed, and I pulled my gun, aiming at the front tires.

“Stay behind me!" I commanded, and so he did. I pulled the trigger, and the vehicle lost control as it made a loud sound and came to an abrupt stop. Nonetheless, one of the men aimed at us with a pistol, but I was faster and hit him on the head first. The door of the van opened, and another man attempted to shoot us.

Once again, I got him first, hitting him on the head. The driver took off running; there were no more moves for him. The smart deal was to flee. Therefore, I turned my attention back to my great-grandfather; he had stopped in his tracks as I pointed the gun in his direction now. I don't intend to hurt him, for God's sake; he was my blood, and adrenaline was running through my body. I can't shoot him; otherwise, I will not exist.
"Please... just go! Leave!" I said in my mind.
"Go, fool, go away!" I breathed heavily, and suddenly, to my relief, he turned and walked away. The singer did not notice him; he remained behind me, and then again my AI alerted me a new danger ahead.

"Alert!! Armed motorcyclists approaching from your opposite direction!!" I turned back immediately. "Stay behind me, Mr. Jackson! It is not over."

"Oh, my god!" He exclaimed, while at that moment the motorcyclist aimed at us, knowing that he had been perceived by me. I pulled the trigger as I commanded the singer to squat along with me. With my perfect aim, I hit the man on the neck. There's no way I could miss a shot; my cyborg within me never misses.

The motorcyclist crashed against the nearest vehicles that were parked on the opposite side of the street, and at that very moment my AI alerted me once again of danger.

"Attention! Three armed men approaching!!" As we rose to our feet, I ordered the singer to stay behind me. "Stay behind, it is not over!"

"What! Again? What's going on, for God's sake?" The three men were closing in, and at one moment they stopped as one of them shouted while aiming at me.

"Drop your weapon, let him go, or we will shoot you!" The singer came out from hiding behind me while I stopped him from putting my arm in front of his torso. "Stay behind, Mr. Jackson! It's not safe!"

"Don't hurt them; they are my security men!" At that moment I put my gun back in my pocket.

"Put the weapons away; he's not going to hurt you!" Nonetheless, the guards were stunned and nervous as they saw what happened to the attackers; they were not putting away their guns.

"Who are you? Why are you with Michael?!" The lead guard asked, and I let them arrest me while the singer was taken away from me. One of the guards grabbed his arm and pulled him away, taking him out of the scene.

"He saved me, Bill, he saved me!!" The singer cried out, yet no one listened as I allowed them to arrest me. There were a few policemen who arrived immediately; the singer's bodyguard took my gun and kept it. I had no other weapon with me, and while I was being held, the guard gazed at the gun. My gun was out of this era, heavy and shiny like a mirror, pure chrome, unlike anything they had ever seen.

Before they were getting me into the police car, the guard ordered them to stop. "Stop! Let him go, bring him here." The man had a good eye; he was scanning me from head to toe with a positive expression.

"You did all this mess by yourself?" He asked as I had everything prepared to say to get his trust. As I was standing before him, my AI scanned him. There I learned who he was and what was his duty.

"I did, sir." I responded, and he glanced at my gun.

"Nice gun, I never seen anything like it." I glanced at the other man next to him, who was also gazing at my gun. Furthermore, I scanned him, and his information came through. Another guard, I smirked.

"Who are you? What's your name and occupation, young man?"

"My name is Ivan Miller. I am an FBI agent, the agent you asked to be hired to help your team." The main guard smiled and replied, "Welcome to the team. I think this is yours." He handed me back my gun.

"My name is Bill Bray. I'm the head of security and personal assistant to Michael." We shook hands, and he introduced the other guard.

"This is Keith Anderson, first in command." We shook hands. He seems to be a nice guy, African American, the same age as me.
"Man, did you really take down those guys by yourself?" He smiled as we shook hands.

"Of course, Keith, he's the man we need." The main guard, called Bill, pointed out. Then he glanced at me.

"I need you to fax me your resume and your identification. Here's my number." He left me confused. What the hell is a fax? He handed me a piece of paper with a number. I took it and glanced at it, and then I looked back at him.

What am I supposed to do with this number? I need to look it up before I get caught. He then asked me for my badge. Luckily, I came prepared and updated my identity according to this era.

CHAPTER 3: CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE

🌟 Ivan's standpoint.

As I was in my thoughts, the main guard brought me back to his attention. "Are you staying somewhere, young man?"

"I am," I replied.

"Good, we have to sit and talk about what just happened, but for now, we have to take care of this situation with the police. We have to leave Michael out of this ordeal; the press cannot know about this incident, alright?" I nodded.

"Come with me; you're the center of this investigation." I followed him, and so did Keith. We were interrogated by the main police officer, yet when I handed him my identification and my badge, the officer saw me with respect. Bill and Keith saw it as well. They didn't say a word, not until we were done with the police report.

"So you are a CIA agent?" Bill put his hands on his waist, appearing a bit suspicious.

"Indeed, I am... I hope we won't have a problem with that." I responded, yet the one who answered was Keith: "Isn't that better?" He raised his eyebrows as he eyed Bill.

"Of course it is, though I opted for FBI agent." Bill said, and I replied right away, "It truly doesn't matter, for I have both batches."

"I have no issues with that; nonetheless, the issue is Michael. You see, Michael does not trust the government or the media. We have been doing our best to convince him that we need a qualified individual for his protection, yet we cannot convince him. Therefore, we have to lie; we have to tell him that you are a common bodyguard such as we are."

"After witnessing his abilities and the way he dealt with this incident, I don't believe he would go for that, Bill. Michael is much of an observant and clever guy." Keith pointed out, and Bill eyed him.

"Keith, I understand, but I know him better than all of you. I have been taking care of him since he was a child. He is adamant about it; he literally has a phobia about spies and undercover agents. Therefore, he will have to believe what we tell him." Bill glanced at me, then he continued.

"I will see you tomorrow at my office. At ten o'clock in the morning, ensure yourself by bringing all your documents. Go to the last floor, and when the elevator opens, you will see a double door right in front. Press the pound key and 77, and wait for someone to receive you." He scanned me from head to toe and said.

"By the way, nice outfit, yet don't show up tomorrow looking like that, because you do look different. Nonetheless, you should know that we follow a dress code, and we will provide you with your wardrobe." I nodded. Damn, I completely forgot to change these clothes.

"Oh, I like what you're wearing. I think it's cool. Where do you go shopping, dude?" Keith asked, and I was in hesitation, not knowing what to say, but Bill responded,

"Come on, Keith, we have to go. See you tomorrow, Mr. Miller." I nodded as I replied.

"See you tomorrow." Boy, I was saved from explaining where I get my garments. If they would only know. Anyhow, I went back to my hotel room, and as soon as I did, I received a call from Adrian. The watch on my wrist lit up, and right when I accepted the call, Adrian's voice appeared.

"What happened? Did everything go well?"

"Yes, I am in."

"Your great-grandfather and Michael, what happened?!"

"Don't worry, they did not see each other. When he noticed how I brought down the enemy, he turned and walked away."

"Be aware, he might be around, and he's going to attempt to meet with the singer again. You must be hired by Bill Bray, the head of security, as soon as possible so the position could be filled and they could send your great-grandfather away to another mission."

"Alright, I will be on the lookout. Adrian, Bill asked me to send him my documentation with all my credentials by fax, and he gave me a number. What the hell is a fax, and what do I do?"

"Oh, gosh, Ivan, you're in the early nineties; everything was done by paper." Great, I rolled my eyes as he continued.

"Listen, I will send you all the information you need to get hired with a link. You will go to the main office of the hotel; they must have a printer and a fax machine."

"Wait, what? What the hell is a printer?"

"Ivan, a printer is a machine that processes all the information on paper, and on paper you have to pass it through the fax machine. The printer machine should recognize the link, and if it doesn't, it must have an entry where you can share your files. Dial that number and send all your information to Bill."

"Okay, got it."

"You will get the link in about 20 minutes."

"Alright," I replied.

"So... tell me, how does it feel to meet the biggest superstar in the world?. Is he truly as handsome as he is in photos?" Why is he asking me this? How would I tell him that he's mesmerizing and that he swept me off my feet? No, I cannot tell him that, I'm going to break his heart if I do so. Therefore, I took a while to answer.

"Ivan, are you there?"

"Ah... yeah, I'm here... ah, listen, I didn't pay attention to that, you know I only have eyes for you."

"Aww, babe, I know, but we are talking about Michael Jackson." I rolled my eyes; this is annoying, therefore I had to end it.

"Adrian, I'm here for a mission, not to admire his looks. Now, what happened tonight? Who attempted to hurt the singer? We talked about this; I do not know anything about this case."

"True, I will send you a copy of your great-grandmother's private files. I will send you a link to your laptop. You will learn the truth about Michael's life and what truly happened. Your mission is to change these events and save Michael in any way possible from his enemies.'

Ivan, this is crucial; Michael must never know that you are a time traveler. Once you have completed your mission, you'll go back to the future and never go back to the past. Is that understood?"

"Got it, boss." I smirked, and he continued.

"Ivan, I will be with you throughout this mission. If you need me for any reason or have questions, I'll be there for you."

"Oh, baby, thank you so much. I know I got you."

"No, babe, when I said I'll be there, I meant truly be there for you in person." I was truly amazed.

"I see, and you are allowed to?"

"Of course, however briefly."

"That's nice to know, babe. Now, I have to go, okay love? And please, send me the link as soon as possible."

"Okay, babe, I love you. I'll be in contact with you, okay?"

"Okay, love you too."

When I ended the call, I felt sadness deep inside. Our relationship is not what it used to be, at least from my part. But I don't have the heart to hurt him; it's the last thing I want to do. Staying with him is a must, for no one could love me more than him.

I inhale, leaving my thoughts behind, for I have to direct myself to my mission. Therefore, I went through my stuff and noticed that I didn't bring any garments with me. Dammit, I have to get up early tomorrow and visit a man's store.

While I was preparing myself for bed, my AI alerted me of new messages. My brain interacts with my cyborg, and I visualize all the information through my vision. Adrian had sent me the link; all I have to do is connect my finger to the damn old printer machine. Tomorrow, before leaving the hotel, I will take care of this business. Minutes later, I receive a notification through my AI. He also sent me the link for my laptop.

⚜️Michael's Standpoint.

Now and then when I feel anxious, I feel the need to get out of my apartment building and take a walk around the block. What is making me anxious? My upcoming world tour, which I shouldn't be anxious about, for I have been on stage ever since I can remember. Nonetheless, on my last world tour, I promised that I would never tour again for the reason that it drains me... it takes a toll on me.

Yet, I'm doing it for a good cause, and that is to advocate for the children of the world through my Heal the World Foundation. My other reason for anxiety is my relationship with Jacob, my security man.

For God's sake, I never seem to get it right when it comes to my love life. I always fall in love with the wrong person, and breaking away from that relationship is so damn hard, especially when you fear him.

I shouldn't fear him; on the contrary, I should stop being such a coward and dump his ass. The problem is that I love him with all his imperfections, for he truly has profound issues. He's a jealous freak, and he has anger management issues.

Now and then, he goes off and hurts me... physically. It hasn't gone to the point of beating me; however, I'm afraid that one day he'll eventually end up doing so. Jacob is tall, about six feet four inches, with a bulky body build, way too strong for a thin guy like myself. Precisely such as the way he grabs me when he's mad; it leaves bruises on my skin.

Therefore, I fear that one day he's going to lose control and break me apart. Physically, I can't compete against him; literally, I'm a dead man. He truly loves me , though; I know it for the fact that he's going to therapy for anger management, and he is doing it for me.

Nonetheless, we have been fighting over stupid things lately, and now this? What happened tonight that I snuck out on him, and the outcome of it? Gosh, I felt his grasp on my arm as he pushed me inside the elevator.

"Ouch!" I cried, and he released my forearm. Will my other guard become angry and confront him? As the elevator was going up.

"What the hell are you doing, fool!" Oh, god, this irritated Jacob even more, and before things could get out of hand, and it has happened before, I intervened.

"Will, it's okay... he's not doing anything." Jacob and William were eyeing each other, becoming almost face-to-face as I was in between both men.

"No, it is not, Michael, and you motherfucker! You don't put your hands on him like that, not in front of me!" Will, as a true professional, was doing his duty, and that was to defend and protect his client no matter what.

"Stay out of this! This is personal between a couple. It is not your business!" Jacob clenched his fist, and so did William.

"Stop, guys, please!" I pleaded, but they were not listening.

"It is my business, my duty, to defend my client even against fools like you! You know the protocol, so get your shit together!"

"Stop... guys, please, stop!" For a moment they both considered me, and thankfully they cooled off. Jacob backed off first and did not say a single word. The elevator door opened.

"Please, William, don't mention this incident to Bill." He disagreed right away.

"Mr. Jackson, no... no, do not ask me for the impossible. It's my duty to report it."

I cast my eyes down with sadness, understanding that I couldn't stop him from doing his job, more so, I was feeling down for allowing this behavior for so long.

By this moment, Jacob had already entered the apartment, and once I stepped inside, things went bad. He grasped my forearm once again with so much pressure that I felt my bones about to break. Yet, I couldn't scream because William was next door... and I was so embarrassed.

"Ouch... let go! It ****** hurts, Jacob!"

"Now you are going to tell me the truth, Michael!

Who's the man who supposedly saved you? Are you cheating on me with that man?!"

"Let go of my arm, Jacob, you're hurting me!" He was so furious and out of control that he couldn't see how much he was hurting me. Instead, he grasped my other arm and pulled me into him with all his force. Why am I putting up with his sick behavior? I can't take it anymore.

"Why did you sneak out on me in the middle of the night? Do you know that man? Answer me, Michael! Are you cheating on me with this guy? That's what it is?!" Oh, God, no... no, I can't take it anymore.

"What? No, no, Jacob, you are out of control again! Let go, for God's sake!"

Thankfully, he released me; nonetheless, he didn't seem to have calmed down. The look in his eyes paralyzed me with fear. Yet, I wasn't going to let my guard down. It is now or never; this relationship must end.... I just need to get it out of my chest... You can do this, Mike. Come on, do it!

"I'm out of control because of you! You are doing this to me, Michael! You are making me lose control!! And you haven't answered me because you have guilt!" I backed up nervously until I reached to stand behind the couch; his eyes were on me like a furious wolf about to kill his prey.

My chest was rising and falling, my breath becoming heavier as all the bad memories of my past were coming through to crush me down and remind me of all my childhood traumas and past relationships. Nonetheless, I can't take it anymore.

"I am not putting up with this anymore, Jacob. I know nothing will convince you that I'm not cheating! I don't care anymore; this relationship is over!"

"What did you just say?." He clenched his jaw, his nostrils widened like a fuming bull about to attack. He drew closer, and I drew back. Run, Michael... run to the room and lock yourself in. If you don't do it, he's going to kill you.
