See, this is why I canā€™t be entirely upset with the contents of disc 2 (excluding one song). Fans such as yourself who may be new to the community, or who simply might not have been aware of these songs previously, are discovering them for the first time. Thereā€™s a whole world of fans who will be discovering these songs for the first time, thanks to disc 2. And the one or two users who say ā€œThEy CoUlD jUsT fInD tHeM iF tHeY wAnTeD tOā€ are absolutely ridiculous.

Thankyou for this thread. My favourites are so far: Who do you know, What a lovely way to go :love: and She`Trouble.
Have decided to stream the songs now on youtoube instead of hearing the CD in order to produce streams.

yes, exactly. I am in the category of fans who never heard half of these songs and want to just enjoy some new Michael songs. I don't care what was left out and why, it will probably come in some later release.

Don't wanna derail the good vibes here but I wonder what you think of its audio quality. If even I hear it it must be really bad lol

I never complained about the tracklist but some songs just don't sound the way they are supposed to

That's a great way of explaining it! And I think that's part of what makes the whole thing so dynamic to me. It helps that I really didn't know any of the songs other than Carousel. All of these are new to me and I didn't have any expectations of how they would sound. But I really like the mixture as you described because it feels like some insight into his process!

I have no idea what the released version of "Behind the Mask" sounds like, but this one is just a wild ride to me. I think the imperfections of it add something! I've always felt that way about demos.

For "Behind the Mask", because I dislike the 2010 version, I have listened different remix from fans, but also different artist like Philliganes etc...lot of remix from fans have tried to make the 80's sound, some sound alright, but for me by far the best version is from Thriller 40 is my favorite, that sound less artificial, it's more fluid and direct, I have waited a long to hear such fantastic song like Michael wanted, and I'm extremely happy with the result.

No I pre-ordered one but it hasn't arrived yet šŸ˜‚ I wanted to get a physical one but it was sold out at the first store. I am thrilled!! I want it sold out everywhere haha. I mean it's only noon here. This store opened 4 hours ago and it sold out. That's awesome!

Behind the mask, the toy, I think I am the only one who loves it better on Michael album...so far. (maybe I change my mind later...ha ha)
and..welll....I love cant get out of the rain, wauw...(but the 7 minute version....is wauwwwwwww)

I am happy for the whole thriller 40 album, love love love it, yesssssssss, I am a bunny and a lamb jumping at the same time hahaha.

I listened to thriller 40 on Spotify and the quality for the most part seemed fine to me. But then, I ainā€™t no expert in mastering and mixing.

I just gave Carousel on T25 a listen and you are right. Carousel on T40 doesnā€™t sound anywhere near as good, but I am still grateful for its inclusion as I never heard a complete version of the song before.
