The estate has earned that but with the 4K videos we will not be disappointed if you carefully saw the leaks of the immersive experience contains the original 4:3 radio aspect with more information on the sides just as it happened with Thriller 3D

If they really didn't find the source material of billie jean there is nothing we can do other than make a new scan from the best possible source.

i'll be shocked if they find it if MJ couldnt for MoonWalker.
 
I was literally thinking is this the 4K everybody keeps raving about. I barely saw a difference.

The biggest improvement is the color calibration. It's actually accurate, no more oversaturation from being worn out.

Compared to this, pretty excellent fan articulation, no doubt the quality as well will be much crisper.

Yes, the colour difference is amazing. Really highlights how bad the versions we've had for years have been.

Technological limitations of the time and that MJ never wanted to remaster the videos in the 90's when History Video Greatest Hits came out

And neither with visionary singles That came out after the 2005 trial and Sony had offered it to him
 
I am slightly concerned about Billie Jean. Obviously it not being shown in 4k doesn't mean they haven't found the material to restore it (Thriller wasn't in 4k either) but yeah, crossing my fingers we are able to see it in HD.

It is for me for the following reasons, it is the end of an era which lasted from 1980ish to 1985 (it was filmed in 1985)

1) he still had his short curled hairstyle
2) he still used the same dance moves from the thriller/triumph/victory era
3) he is still the ideal stepson who is seen favorably by parents (this changed when he changed his image and style for bad)

I hope they are Bad era videos. It might not make sense with Thriller 40 but I don't think anyone would complain if they are on Youtube.
