A car is very important for a rescuer, Yannis car seemed to work but it looked terrible inside and someone sent a lovely gift
They don´t speak much English there and learning a new language is not easy but sometimes they have a volunteer who speaks English.

Many people stumble into the dark and murky world of lion breeding through a love of animals! It’s not easy to pick your way through the lies and myths that the lion breeders use to ‘cover-up’ their immoral business.
So, we are going to dispel some of their myths:
They claim: The use of so-called ‘ambassador species’ - such as lions, leopards and cheetahs is OK.
NOT TRUE - Ambassador species - is another ‘myth’ spun by the breeding industry. Hands-on interaction with big cats of any species is wrong. They will become habituated and can never return to the wild.
Petting cubs is unethical.
If you Pet a cub - you are condemning it to be captive for life!
Wildlife is unable to ask for help.
Save Me Trust works to give wildlife a voice.
The captive breeding and petting of any wild animal is wrong. As we have seen above their ‘reasons’ for petting lion cubs are easily dismissed with a little thought and understanding.
We are reminded of many a MotherÂ’s wise words; You look with your eyes - not your hands! - Lion cubs are not yours to touch or hold Those that do are condemning them to a lifetime in captivity

I think he said he had an hour to get all theses animals on the plane and he had no staff with him to help him.But it seems he didn´t have to ask for help both English and American soldiers wanted to help.

Unfortunately, sterilization procedures have not been implemented sufficiently in recent years. If it continues like this, we will soon see more cats than humans. Did you know that there are 170000 stray cats within the borders of Istanbul? The tip of the iceberg you watch in this video. Hundreds of kittens under the rocks are waiting for the day when they will be on the rocks.

Neutering does not mean exterminating the cat. To offer them better living conditions. Otherwise, hundreds of cats will fight to get into one cat house. Strong cats will eat, weak cats will starve. The saddest part is that many of these cats, unfortunately, will not survive. Neutering is a good thing, not a bad thing for cats.

Great news from Zero Kittens Here We Go!
Its been a year since we started TNR projects around Athens.
Until today 1000 feral cats spayed and neutered!!!
We fixed feral cats from Agia Marina,Alimos,Chalandri.Cholargos and Heliopolis ❤
Many charities from UK,Germany,Greece and individuals who care and understand the importance of TNR (Trapping-Neutering-Returning a feral cat) have helped us and continue to help ❤

The Truth About Rabies in Cats​

It’s rare for a feral cat to have rabies
While it’s important to know the facts about rabies, most people are surprised to know that feral cats are generally healthy and are not the animals spreading this disease.

In fact, they are usually just as healthy as pet cats, although they often get a bad reputation for spreading disease.

Cats have instincts that guide them to stay away from animals that are sick.

Since these animals are defensive, and not offensive, they will try to do anything they can to prevent running into other animals, especially wild ones that may attack. The animals that they hunt for food rarely have rabies.

Since feral cats aren’t socialized to come up to and spend time around people, they are not very likely to spread diseases to humans.

They are much happier being by themselves and will try to avoid contact with people as much as possible. This means that people aren’t at risk for feral cats the way that many of them assume they are.

By taking time to understand rabies, how to identify it, and to learn that feral cats are not the real danger, people can better advocate for these animals.

Feral cats are often pointed at as the cause of rabies, but this isn’t true in most cases. Knowing this gives people comfort when dealing with feral cats.
