I was just thinking the same thing.

First of all, Ms. Faye talks in cryptic riddles, in my opinion. They would need a translator just to figure out what she is trying to say.

Also answering questions for Mother's side will be the easy part, it's that dang cross-examination that usually gets people in trouble. I really don't think Ms. Faye will be able to stand the "cross-examination" heat.

Bottomline, I wouldn't be surprise if she turns out to be a no show, just like she did during Murray's trial.
 
Ivy will there be any transcript of the witnesses testimony in court.? Will that be in the official court documents?
 
There would be transcripts but they won't be in the document system. You need to buy them separately from the court reporter.

Currently we are waiting to see, petrarose offered to buy them, we will see how this goes and we might get certain testimonies.

Paris Jackson Deposed In Katherine Jackson’s Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against AEG

Michael Jackson‘s daughter, Paris, is being deposed Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles in connection with a wrongful death lawsuit her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, filed against concert promoter, AEG, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Katherine contends that AEG was responsible for her son’s death because they were responsible for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray to be his physician.

“The deposition will take place in a private interview room that is big enough to accomodate lawyers for Katherine, and AEG, beginning at 1:30,” a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“The deposition could go all day. Even though Paris isn’t expected to testify at the trial, AEG wanted to take her deposition because she is a co-Plaintiff in the case.

Prince Jackson, Michael’s oldest child, “was also deposed last week, and it didn’t go well for him. In fact the proceedings grew so intense for Prince, that a break was called, and it had to resume the next day,” the insider tells us.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Prince plans on testifying at the trial, which is scheduled to begin in April.

Katherine suffered a huge legal setback recently when a California court dismissed all but one of her claims against AEG and its president, Tim Leiweke.


The defendants have filed legal documents with the Court of Appeal in California to dismiss that one claim, on the question of whether AEG Live negligently hired Murray, Jackson’s long time personal physician. Additionally, all but one of her claims against the remaining defendants were dismissed and the California Court of Appeals ordered Michael’s medical records unsealed.

Murray was convicted in 2011 for the involuntary manslaughter death of Michael after administering a fatal dose of propofol to help the pop singer sleep.

Murray hadn’t formally signed his employment contract with AEG at the time of Michael’s death, and say they aren’t responsible for his tragic death.

These poor kids are being placed through traumatic life experiences by a family still not willing to work honestly for a living.
This case is a losing war. not worth all the fuss really.
 
This is disgusting that the adults are putting these kids through this...it is obvious to me that they are lying to them and telling them that they will make a difference in this case. This case is NOT necessary an ANY responsible adult would NEVER put children through something this traumatic..they have been traumatized enough by losing the only parent they have EVER known. I hope these kids pack up and leave when they turn 18 and get away from this crazy family ,.smh
 
it is worth it for the Jacksons. Katherine has been doing everything in her power to prevent AEG from calling Randy, Jermaine , Tito and the rest of the gang to testify at the trial but she is very willing to put the poor kid on the stand .

Prince will testify against his own dad , if only he knew .
 
Poor kids. The family should be ashamed of themselves. All this crap for money. I stand by what I say.
 
Reading court documents filed by Katherine's lawyers. AEG allegedly said they want to depose the kids for a full day - 7 hours.

TJ Jackson testified that he believes Prince was treated inappropriately. Prince's deposition was stopped because he was agitated.

Jacksons got a doctors note for Blanket saying that deposition under these circumstances would be medically detrimental to Blanket.

Jacksons claim at Prince was treated inappropriately by AEG during deposition. He was agitated and they stopped the deposition.

This is the reason why they moved Paris's deposition to the court building, because Jacksons want to refer to the judge if needed.
 
I feel for Prince, but this isn't a game, AEG are there to defend themselves. Not so long ago in the press we were hearing that Michael discussed all his dealings with AEG with Prince, so I guess they had a lot to ask him.
 
If they only knew what they were doing to these kids...are they THAT ignorant that they don't understand? I find that impossible.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Paris Jackson, the 14-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, is being questioned Thursday about her father's last days as part of her family's wrongful death lawsuit against a concert promoter.

In addition, Jackson lawyers told the judge in a court filing this week they were concerned that lawyers for AEG Live, the company accused of liability in Jackson's death, were "behaving aggressively and erratically" in their questioning of the Jackson children.

AEG Live asked Los Angeles Superior Judge Yvette Palazuelos to order Blanket Jackson to appear for a deposition, but his doctor warned it would be "medically detrimental" to the 10-year-old boy, according to the court filing.

When AEG Live lawyers deposed Prince Jackson, 16, earlier this month, they asked questions intended "to agitate the boy, creating serious concern among his guardians and attorneys," the document said.

Prince "testified that he was intimately involved in his father's affairs," an AEG Live lawyer said in an e-mail defending the questioning.

The wrongful death lawsuit is a high-stakes contest. Prince, Paris, Blanket and their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, are suing AEG Live for billions of dollars. The trial is set to begin in Los Angeles next month.

Jackson lawyers complained that AEG Live lawyers engaged in "a concerted tactical effort made to harass and burden the Jackson family through these abusive discovery processes."

While Blanket -- who was just 6 when his father died on June 25, 2009 -- will not be called as a witness in the trial, AEG Live has tried to force him to sit for a deposition, the filing said.

Blanket's doctor provided a letter saying it would be "medically detrimental" to the boy. "Yet defendants still to this day say they may move to compel Blanket's deposition," the Jackson filing said.
Jackson lawyers accused AEG Live lawyers of mistreating Prince when he was deposed on a recent Saturday. They "behaved in a manner designed to agitate the boy, creating serious concern among his guardians and attorneys," their filing said.

"Defense counsel asked the boy completely irrelevant and repetitive personal questions about whether he sends text messages, whether he send text messages from his phone, and whether he 'tweets,'" they said. "Defense counsel also asked the boy about every place he had ever lived, every teacher he had ever had and about his current efforts to start a career in addition to being a full-time student -- none of which have anything to do with the case at hand."

AEG Live lawyer Jessica Stebbins Bina, in an e-mail included in the court filing, defended her co-counsel Marvin Putnam's questioning of Prince.

"My understanding is that the deposition proceeded with appropriate questioning, and that the questions were legitimate questions appropriate to a wrongful death suit," she said.

The Jackson lawyers also complained about the questioning of family matriarch Katherine Jackson, who is 82. AEG Live lawyers deposed her for nine hours over three days and are asking for a fourth chance, they said. The questioning could have been easily done in two or three hours, they told the judge.

The lawsuit contends that AEG Live is responsible for Jackson's death because it hired and supervised Dr. Conrad Murray, who was administering the surgical anesthetic propofol to Jackson each night for a month to induce sleep as he prepared for a series of concerts organized by AEG Live.

AEG Live contends that Michael Jackson chose Murray as his personal physician. The promoter denies having hired or supervised Murray.

A jury found Murray guilty of involuntary manslaughter after hearing testimony that he violated medical standards in his treatment of Jackson.

UPDATE: 1:43 p.m. PDT: Paris Jackson is about to begin her deposition, and is wearing a blue top, jeans, and brown Ugg boots. TJ Jackson, her co-guardian, is also with her.
 
Jacksons caused this and now they are looking for sympathy and playing the victim.wouldnt surprise me if none of it happened as they claimed and they are just using the kids to gain sympathy. shame on them for doing this to the kids

AEG's version of events from their motion as follows

AEG states they tried to avoid to depose Prince &Paris but they are important witnesses as they stated they interacted with Murray before AEG came into the picture.

AEG also states that Michael's kids are active in entertainment industry, have twitter accounts, make appearances and give interviews.

After trying to set dates for sometime, they agree to do depositions on Saturday to fit with school schedules and avoid media.

Prince goes to his deposition on March 2 with TJ, Katherine,3 lawyers & security. AEG's lawyers arrange for them to enter unseen to offices. AEG states they provided lunches to everyone and treated Prince with care & courtesy. They say Katherine thanked them for accommodations.

After 2 hours of deposition, when they start Prince asking about Murray, KJ's lawyers end deposition saying Prince was tired. AEG states they had problems with setting time for the continuance of Prince's deposition and Paris's deposition kept being cancelled.

AEG states then they later heard complaint about how they treated Prince , they deny such claims and say they showed care & courtesy.

It looks like after a lot of back and forth Prince's deposition was continued this Tuesday and Paris's is set for today.

KJ's lawyers wanted to move Paris's deposition to the court house rather than AEG lawyers offices. AEG doesn't understand this.AEG states media reports this case extensively and they would report today's status hearing. Hence media would see Paris coming to court. The only people to blame for Prince's dilemma is Katherine & family. If he cannot handle a deposition, how will he handle being a witness on the stand & being cross-examined? The kids need to understand this is not a play but real life, where AEG's reputation is at stake. Prince's needs to understand exactly what is happening here, and who got him into this situation.

I am wondering if the kids know how to phrase answers so that their responses do not convey double meanings, which can be used against Michael. However, I think you have to be older or more experienced in life to have that ability, so I am a bit apprehensive about how Prince frames his answers.

Call me bias, but somehow I believe in AEG's version of the situation, rather than the family side.

Why is it when it comes to the Jackson everybody talks about them, they're out to hurt them, seems as if they don't do anything wrong but the whole world is against them. They're their own victims. They always blaming other people for the problems they create.

I agree with Petra, I also believe the AEG's version. Do they video those depos? How I wish if they did, they show it in court to see who's making up stories here.

Jacksons are despicable.:angry: When Prince was deposited, no one knew about it and there were no paps around.
Now they make Paris' to do her deposition on front of the paps, only because they want to show what big bad AEG is doing to kids. Of course AEG want to hear from them, and they have to be deposited as one of the plaintiffs, and they are looking (Katherine) for billions.

They cannot exactly say that kids are shy and not used to deal with paps etc, when Jackson's has been pimping them to every other shows.


After reading AEG's motion to deposit Paris, I see Jackson's are playing delay tactics again. Paris' deposition has been rescheduled 3 times!

I agree. Katherine' side fought that judge won't allow cubs money issues in the trial, but their money problems are the very reason this trial goes ahead.

When Paris and Prince grows up and start to understand what is going on...........
