Unusual love you were something new
someone I never thought I would meet
we were so compatible just as one
I got so scared and flew the nest
you told me to believe and remember your there
I should have stayed and had the faith
but somehow it was all to much to bare
she had a warm touch and a open heart
it was the fact she was there and he was not
I couldn't handle looking into her eyes
it was a whole new world and I lost her because of my weakness
I had fought a feeling that was so strong,
I fell so fast and deep, it was like catapulting off the highest building
and the feeling that she was still there ready with her arms open
we battled for months hoping love would find a way
I pushed to hard and she fell blinded by love
she cried and I tried, she reached and I pushed
I hoped for one day I might wake up and it was all a dream
you learn a lesson in love and it would never feel of that impact
the impact of guilt and you see her and she is so beautiful
and you watch her walk away as you feel broken inside
the thing I heard her say was
“I remember you said love was blind, and you let it mist the path and now I'm gone”
then she walked away,
I can see her but not touch
because she is someone else's no longer mine

I miss you like the sky misses the sun
the tree misses the leaves
and half of someone's heart meets with their others
your always with me no matter how far you go
and I'm sorry for the pain I caused
just remember you walked with my arms open
