Hello everyone! Happy to be a part of MJ's big family :) I enjoyed many of MJ's songs. HIStory cds are the first cds my family bought. But over the years we have been paying less attention to him. After his death, I read up about him and discover what an amazing person he was. And I am so angry at how the media and the public treated him, especially concerning the child molestation cases!

I joined a group called Vindication better than Tribute. They have a website http://mjtruthnow.com where they are starting a grassroot movement to clear Michael's name and clean up the mess in the journalism profession, so the media cannot simply defame anybody and get away with it in the guise of the First Amendment.

Please sign up for the newsletter at mjtruthnow. We are now gathering fans to start a boycott to force Martin Bashir off air. We need more numbers. Also please help spread the word!

Thank you and God bless!

I signed up for the newsletter!!
As part of the Legacy Team effort we have the Media Advocacy Group where we will soon post a new thread in various parts of the forum and people can sign up for e-mailing editors who write horrible, outright lies about Michael but we also want to plan to write to those editors who write positive articles on Michael in order to stimulate them to keep doing so.
This is very important to me and I have sworn to dedicate time and effort to this to vindicate Michael's name. even if the KOP is no longer with us it will be beneficial also to his family and his children!

Yes! Thank you MJJLaugh! Please help spread the word! Where is the Media Advocacy Group? Sorry I'm still new here... :p We can join our efforts to beat the media beast!! :)

All in all, I still keep myself apart from reading the coroner's report, 'cause not only the pain delivered, but also the level of too many invasive details... for such an extraordinary human being, seems too unfair for me to be exposed even in death...
I imagine in days to come, more and more tabloids and TV will start to disset all the details, as they did after FBI files, and to take any opportunity to gain one again some ratings, using his name.
So here is what I think we may have as a point in helping his image:

How does medialoid lie? Rolling Stone magazine, for example, wrote in both its "tribute" editions that Michael wore a nose prosthesis. They even said that an unnamed "source" told them that once, during rehearsal, it fell off and rolled across the floor. Well, the coroner's 51-page report has just been released and, lo and behold, Michael's nose bore one scar on either side of his nostrils but otherwise was intact. Clearly, he was buried with his God-given nose.

Will Rolling Stone retract its lie? Not on your life! Why not? Because a dead man can't be defamed. How convenient. How convenient for anyone in medialoid (mainstream media infected by tabloid journalism) who wants to make a buck on Michael Jackson--dead or alive. Defamers--all of you.

The text belongs to a friend of mine, Catherine. I hope you will meet this quote all over the net.
We sure will be heard if we raise our voice as one!:clapping:

Here are some quotes from Rolling Stones issue, regarding this matter:

Let's stick to the nose prosthesis because Rolling Stone magazine lied, not once but twice about this specific point in an utterly gross manner. Here's what they wrote:
>
> First Commemorative Issue: Jackson's face, which he had so painfully reworked and concealed from the public for decades, now lay out in the open, undisguised under the morgue's harsh lights. The prosthesis he normally attached to his damaged nose was missing, revealing bits of cartilage surrounding a small, dark hole. pg 46
>
> Second Cover Issue: By 1995, Jackson was literally falling apart. Under hot, bright lights on the set of the video for "Scream" that year, Jackson was practicing dance moves when his hand brushed his heavily altered nose. The tip of it--actually a prosthetic--flew across the floor, and Jackson began screaming hysterically. Crew members ran after it. There was a hole, man, a little hole right where the tip of the nose should be, a perfectly circular opening," says a source who was in the room that day. "It was kind of disgusting. I felt bad for the guy."
>
> Another source says that Jackson would sometimes abandon the prosthesis altogether, showing up at meetings with a bandage over the hole. He had clearly had at least one nose job too many. pgs 82-83

The Hotline calling part of the worldwide initiative to get the Batten story picked up by major media outlets is now over. The story is now convieniently considered 'old' and most likely will not now be given coverage.

It was, however, important that we tried.

Clearly mainstream media has no intention of publicizing the Batten story - but we are not defeated. There is nothing to stop people from posting key excerpts from the rebuttal part of the Batten interview on the general web ourselves to get the story out there. Please could we all now focus our dedicated energy on raising general awareness about Charles Thomson, and urge as many people as possible to head to the Huffington Post to add their comments.

Charles Thomson believes the truth about Michael Jackson's innocence is being suppressed.

We have waited a long time for the media to hear us.

One journalist has.

But he is only one man.

If we do not support his efforts effectively we will have no-one to blame.

But ourselves.

Our focus is now on making Charles Thomson's blog at the Huffington Post the most commented article in Huff Post history.

When you comment there please use 'normal' names not fan names e.g not mj'sloveiseternal etc.

Huffington Post, one of the most widely read online blog sites, reaches millions of people daily.

Help dispel the popular media-driven misconceptions about Michael Jackson's supporters - and add your cogent, informed, well-spaced comments underneath Thomson's blog at Huff Post.
