was MJ a Frank Sinatra fan?

^^^ I thought it was Fred Astaire who Michael once met?

I remember seeing a very short clip of him saying "love you Frank" from the backseat of a limo back in 1998 when Frank Sinatra passed away.

I never heard anything about it, but I think he probably was a fan. He liked to study the great entertainers and Frank was one of them. :)

dunno. not exactly the music mj was prob brought up on. like elvis

When Mike sang that song for his mother in the 80's.... that was very Sinatra-ish. Some of the songs done on the Jacksons variety show remind me a bit of the traditional pop/jazz stuff that Sinatra was king of.

Yes he was. I can't remeber if it was an interview or in Moonwalk that Michael said that Frank was in town and there was no way he was going to miss the chance to meet Frank. I also agree that Michael has a style to his music as Franks. Michael admired these people like Frank and Sammy Davis Jr. etc. The Rat Pack.

They met :D “The only male singer who I’ve seen besides myself and who’s better than me – that is Michael Jackson.” – Frank Sinatra

Oh gee! Thanks! I wonder 🤔 who the guy on the right is. Never heard of him. He is so good looking 😍.
(🤭 🤭)
That, is the least famous member of the group the Jackson 5. The younger brother of Jermaine Jackson, world famous icon and legend throughout the world. He retired at a young age, a long long time ago.

Jermaine is so wonderful he just, I dunno, he leaves me speechless with rage.

That a shame, he is so good looking and dripping talent! I bet if he did not retire he would have grown up to become the greatest and most beautiful entertainer world has ever seen. (🤭🤭)
He might've did a Sonic soundtrack. We aren't sure.

Well, I think y'all are wrong. Bc that guy on the right? He looks very quiet and well-behaved to me. Are you all sure he'd be able to do all this stuff?

Michael said somewhere that he met Frank when he was about 12 at Sammy Davies Jnr's house ( I presume it was the same time he met Quincy for the first time) he said Frank was nice to him.

Of course MJ was a Frank fan. You would be too if you knew him personally from childhood on.

The fact nobody could just figure that out says a lot about how reading literacy has been for a while..

Meanwhile, how about MJ and Sergio Mendes?
