A compilation I made from the two Antony and the Johnsons albums along with some non album cuts from a couple EPs they released. The music on the EPs are as good or better than anything on the albums themselves. Haunting, strange and beautiful and doesn't sound like anything else being played these days. I Am a Bird Now was named by numerous publications as the best album of the year in '05 and the won the Mercury prize for album of the year. It's not music that will appeal to everybody and probably will never be commercially successful but it's unique and interesting and worth a listen with an open mind.
