What could "Come Together" have been replaced with on History?

Song was completely out of place; it's just a demo from 1986 that was already released back in 1992. What's it doing here?

I would have taken "Superfly Sister" instead.

Michael Jackson wanted (with the 'Come Together' inclusion on the album) to show that he and Sony formed the Sony/ATV Music Publishing joint venture in 1995 (the year also in which that album came out).

His 50 percent share of the ATV Music Publishing Catalogue included mostly his rights of the Beatles songs.

He even placed 'Come Together' in the middle of the track list, dividing in that way the second disc into two equal parts.

But many Michael Jackson fans complained at that time because the ’HIStory’ album came out with a misleading advertisement (its second disc did not include 15 brand new songs, but actually 14).

It was put on the album after the song Why was removed and given to 3T.

What should have been done IMO is put Come Together on disc 1 as the 16th track, and add 2 more to disc 2....problem solved
They could have even add the uncut version on disc #1

Not true, Why and YANA both couldn't appear on the album because they were deemed to similar

Replace Come Together with Morphine, In The Back or Is It Scary and History is a perfect album for me.

Morphine instead of Come Together would have made HIStory even more authentic. However, as part of a concept album, Come Together in the middle of the album makes perfect sense; the song brings both halves of HIStory together, just as Michael brought people and different art forms together.

Huh, what halves of History does 'Come Together' bring together..?
