WBSS is almost 40 seconds longer, Billie Jean had longer intro and bridge (moonwalk part) and Beat It had the same structure of the live performances with two breaks, one for the solo and a second one for the choreo.

I really wanna hear that Beat It... afaik the 12" was just the same as the album (although i only heard it as the B side of WBSS 12".)

Indeed! It can only be found on the CD single of the will.i.am 2008 remix iirc.

True that, my guy. Forgot to mention that Beat It was only released on a special Mexican 12" (red-vinyl).

I'll be glad to have Starlight in better quality, imo it's a better song than Thriller. Still hoping that one of the last 2 songs is an unleaked demo though.

Sorry to all you that *pinched* Michael's music hard luck!! I admit I did same with some but once I knew that there would never be anymore music from Michael ever again I did not download anymore leaks or even listen to them. You have a CHOICE! YOUR CHOICE was to download and steal Muchaels music. So if any of this is not new or fresh to you HARD LUCK!
This disc2 is getting better each week. Now MJ Estate start the promo in full!
There is a Thriller challenge starting from 28th so is this something the estate has done stealthily?

We need to shout now not be quiet!
Bring on the push for Thriller 40. I have sent an email to the estate and I'm sure if more people did then they will eventually reply.

It is, but I suspect there are people who SO want to be excited that it doesn't matter if the product is crap : "I said I was going to be excited so I'll be excited, damn it!".

The alternative is too depressing: it means acknowledging more years of not getting anything worthwhile as MJ fans.

Looking forward to the excited posts next week, when CGOOTR is announced: "it'll be great to have this song on another, separate disc, as I only have it on one right now. This release will be the best ever! Now please announce For All Time as track 10!"

Fact is: Disc 2 aint crap. In your perception it is. But luckily, people are different and so are perceptions. In my opinion, this is the second best bonus disc of any MJ Album there ever was, but obviously far from perfect.

I love Starlight! I am happy that its being released.

Don't we have any graphic designers here who can play with the logo and try to fit different proposed songs in it?! Also speaking of 'being spoiled', the verity of font in the 40 is killing me! It hurts my eyes!

we are getting remastered versions of Starlight, carousel, got the hots and sunset driver, along with the demo to behind the mask, the lq leaked version (hopefully) of She's Trouble, and 2 brand new songs, being The Toy and Lovely Way.

i think we are doing just fine so far lmfao.

It's a terrible piece of design but, what can you do? I usually avoid it. I can find out the info re songs without actually looking at that weird ... whatever, lol.

I'm happy for you Hess! You are talking for weeks, that you'd want "Starlight" included.
Even though it's not what I would have chosen, it will be good to have it in crisp quality in the collection.

If we are very very lucky, maybe they'll do without CGOTR.
If Starlight would take spot #6 (15 on digital) chances would rise for having two more songs who'd make more sense than CGOTR in spot #1 & #3.

I'm glad Starlight is on Disc 2, it fits well with the anniversary and it's surprising it hasn't been released already.

how do we know it isnt the estate messing with us, it isnt confirmed until its told by the estate.

It has been pointed out on several occasions that 'The Toy' sounds completely different from the completed 'Best of Joy'. To the fact that it sounds like a whole different song!
