Carousel is a good selection and deserves to be on here.. anything but CGOTR
 
Carousel deserves to be on there.

I'd be shocked if the last 3 songs aren't, Niteline, Starlight and Hot Street. Surely those three songs makes sense to include, espicially how they have only been leaked rather than having been previously released
 
I don't think that someone in the dark will be one of the disc 2 tracks. It was never intended to be on Thriller. Only on the storybook of E.T. Niteline and Hot Street really need to be included
 
Unfortunately the "youtube theory" seems correct. How can you guys still hope about chicago 1945 or niteline or hotstreet even

2 of those 3 will be on the album and I don’t think Chicago 1945 is one of them.

I highly doubt starlight will appear. Hot street and nightline I’m pretty positive will be on there. Cgotr is a given. If they put starlight on there something is coming off.

Carousel seems like a logic good choice.
Sweet Nice song. Great vocals and the lyrics is fine. Disc 2 is really nice imo.
 
Can't Get Outta The Rain Ich hoffe, dass dieser Song keinen Platz auf CD 2 bekommt, es ist eine Enttäuschung und völlig unnötig, diesen Song aufzunehmen, da es so viele andere Songs gibt, die auf CD 2 gebracht werden könnten, es wäre eine Verschwendung Raum und die meisten Fans wollen diesen Song einfach nicht und es ist nicht einmal ein Thriller vom Feinsten, also ist es einfach völlig unnötig, diesen Song aufzunehmen
 
The only issue I have with the long version of Carousel is I think the story of the song is really cute - the long version brings in a narrative that it could all just be his imagination... It kind of messes the story up a bit to me.
 
hey guys this is just a guess but i have a feeling that nite line and hot street won't be part of the album and these will eventually replace some of the unreleased songs. because if you trust youtube's detection, it only recognized 4 titles: Got The Hots, Carousel, Can't get outta the rain, Sunset Driver. based on that most of the titles of the second cd have been correct until now whereas for hot street and nite line these have no detection for the number as for the others except exception (starlight which has not had no numbering other than copyright claims and it probably was on the album or not) but after that just a guess.

Starlight is NOT part of the YouTube credit/listings theory.
CGOTR is the last of those tracks.

Starlight was always only mentioned because of some random takedowns. No connection to the Got The Hots/Carousel/CGOTR/Sunset Driver theory.
And regarding the takedowns I suggest looking for Starlight on YT and you’ll find enough clips on there, so not conclusive either.

And again:
Starlight would be the ONLY demo to a song which ended up on the original album. It would totally feel out of place on CD2.
If Starlight would have been released with Thriller40 it would have come with the digital bonus tracks.

So we‘ll get CGOTR and TWO other tracks.
Whichever they’ll be..

as i said before, I also think that Starlight wouldn't fit. we will see if the mentioned takedowns are related to this release or not.
anyway, the youtube theory that I mentioned also relates to the previous behind the mask yt takedowns. as we know this song already got revealed for CD2.

regarding the two potential last songs, I hope for hot street and nite line. any unleaked song of course prefered. lets wait and see, so the discussion ends.

and we can celebrate the truly interesting songs thst will get released for the first time ever. BTM demo. can't wait

i feel starlight is a bit of a given, as its a standout from the other demos in thriller as it would be quite an eyecatcher for the general public to see "thriller was originally a COMPLETELY different song!", which is different to lets say billie jean or PYT.

well, that might be true lyrically but melodically the PYT demo is more different to PYT, compared to the evolution of starlight to thriller.
 
It would be good if we got at least one completely unheard song (rolling the dice, chicago1945, nightfall lover, bufallo bill) it would be a dream if we got at least 1 of these or another one that we don't know at all just like that a surprise like what a lovely way to go dan cd 2 would be well ended
