What would be the most successful project they could release now?

It doesn't look like we are not going to get anything this year or are we?

I'm more than happy to wait especially if it benefits the next release. If they need 2015 'off' then by all means... 2013 was quiet minus a very low key release of Bad 25 on DVD/Blu-Ray and yet look at 2014, easily the most successful posthumous project yet :)

I would love it if they decided to release the Ebony and Vogue Photoshoot documentary. Well, to be fair, the magazines have decided it but they're not getting a yes from the MJ Estate. Don't know why the Estate isn't approving of it. Mike looked awesome in the photoshoots and the documentary could lay rest to his supposedly 'ugly drag queen look' (utter bullshit if you ask me) portrayed by the media in the 2000s.

I suppose you are referring to the backstage footage that MJ never gave his consent for public view:

I don't quite get the fuss over the last photoshoot documentary. Not my cup of tea.

Everything that's come out since his passing has essentially been against his wishes.

Yeah just like Michael, Vision, Bad25, Xscape, This Is It and all the other posthumous projects that MJ never gave his consent for.

guhhhh I'd seen clips of this before but not the first one! He was so freaking cute. I distinctly remember when I first saw the Ebony cover at a bookstore, and I was just wowed. I didn't know the issue was coming. When I bought it, my mom and I were both just like "Wow. WOW. Wow. He looks so good. He looks so happy!" Even knowing that of course there was photo ediiting involved, it was just super awesome to see. Watching these clips clearly show that the makeup - and his health - were really that good. (let's note who wasn't doing his face at the time - I'm sure that had a lot to do with it!)

It sounds silly but it made my heart so giddy to see him in much better shape, since the last time we'd "seen" him was the acquittal.

So I am ALL FOR documentaries on these articles! :D

I think it is not necessarily something bad if a released (audio or video) material strengthens (even more) his posthumous fame…

Quite honestly if they released like a DVD boxed set featuring the Bad,Dangerous, and HIStory Tours on DVD (Wembley,Bucharest, and either Munich or another HT concert),as well as a DVD containing outtakes from Michael's most iconic music videos, that could be highly successful. And to boot, getting an official release of Captain EO (after consent from Disney/LucasFilms is given),Moonwalker,Ghosts, the full 30th Anniversary Celebration including the We Are The World performance not shown in the broadcast,an exclusive iTunes release of the videos of the full A Night At The Apollo performance in 2002 and Man In The Mirror during the What More Can I Give concert would prove to be extremely successful because that's what all the fans have been bartering the Estate for since the dawn of time (I'm exaggerating but bear with me that I make a pretty good point). Obviously it would be stretched out over a long period of time and it wouldn't all happen in a year or two so that way these releases still build up hype after X amount of years. And of course in between doing a new posthumous album every few years.

I think that all the fuss comes from inside these magazines. Personally I cannot think of a more effective promo for them…

A documentary about the very last professional photoshoot he ever did for the famous magazine Ebony which includes behind the scenes of him dancing to his own music while being photographed, discussing art and fashion, talking about his own history with Ebony, and being interviewed. What is there not to be exicted about? This is exactly the kind of stuff that also needs to be released. People need to see MJ in this environment, being relaxed and just having a good time. All releases can't just be music and dvd's.

That's not what it's about and you very well know it.
