What would you say to Jason Malachi if you met him?

I'd like to know from him, how he met Eddie.

my theory is that those songs were meant for him and his 2010 album 'Critical' (he also released a mj tribute on there). hence we have lyrics like on BN ('just when you thought he was done.. he comes to give it again") . Eddie stole/took the tracks and put some mj adlibs on it + added mj like production.

i can't imagine him (JM) recording those songs, knowing to release them as MJ songs. why would you do this to your biggest Idol? :D

There was an agreement between Jason Malachi and the record company, according to Jason Malachi.

This is what he publicly posted on his social media account at that time.

It was the post in which Jason Malachi also said that he sang on these Cascio songs.

Interestingly enough, that post was later removed.

I would say nothing about the Cascio tracks because he probably has a NDA on him and wouldn't tell me anything lol. But since I actually listen to some of his music I'd ask him when his next album is coming out. 🙃

A critical question. He should just tell people “let me go! Stop breaking my heart”. His life is like driving a car with hydraulics and we should probably tell him “don’t walk away”.

I’d congratulate him with the credit of making the 3 worst songs in MJ’s dicography
It is interesting though that if you go to the YouTube comment section of the 'Monster' song (uploaded by a user), you will see that many Michael Jackson's fans are full of praise for that song (from a musical aspect), although they know that Michael Jackson does not sing on it.

Look at their comments: they love it, they describe it as an amazing song, as a great song, as a perfect song, or even as a masterpiece.

They even wish that Michael Jackson had actually recorded it.

Seriously! I like all of Michael's actual songs, but those 3??
I can tell you that even the (real) MJ songs I feel slightly "eh" about, I do not hate. I still enjoy them, I don't think Michael Jackson has made any objectively bad songs during his lifetime. Tastes differ, sure, but I legitimately think the man was incapable of creating actually bad music. You know what I mean (I hope). Heck, even Can't Get Out Of The Rain is at least based on an admittedly much better song (though, it's pretty obvious that it was always meant as some sort of filler IMO. Would still pick it over Malachi any day though).

Meanwhile... Rhyming "Michael Jackson" with... "Michael Jackson"...
Singing his name 3 times, to boot...
"Mama say mama got you in a zig-zag"????? (Which Jason Malachi actually reused in a different song, BTW.) (No, I am not making that up!)
And why does Breaking News sound like a rehash/ripoff/terrible parody of Tabloid Junkie, anyway??
Same with Keep Your Head Up, it sounds like a bad MJ ballad parody!
Also, his vibrato sucks!

Yes, all common criticisms, but they're right, okay??

It certainly does not make me wanna check out that "Bible" album thing, let alone any of Jason's actual discography. He's just another generic, watered down kinda-like-MJ-except-not-really artist.

Honestly, I'd ask him no questions at all. I'd just walk away laughing and not even bother, lol.

I don’t doubt there are people that love them but I especially dislike breaking the news and monster. They sound like something MJ could have come up with for sure but it is an old worn out path. Been there done that type of song. Uninspiring and MJ’s vocals probably would not have changed my mind on them.
Keep your head up is quite alright

There are definitely some songs I never listen to, for example track 1 to 16 on Invincible
Just Kidding 😉

He does a good job making MJ like music, you’re not fooling all those people without having some credible tracks I guess.

🤣 Hey now, there are some pretty good tracks on it! Lol. Not MJ's best album, but some of my personal faves are on it. Just wish he wrote more lyrics for the album, and it's perhaps a bit too long.

Part of me wonders whether people at Sony /the estate/whoever were actually fooled or if they were perhaps involved. 🤔 I guess it's hard to say 100%. Either way, I do think that, while I'm glad they lost the court case, Sony and the estate handled the whole thing extremely poorly and never bothered to formally apologize and admit fault. This makes everything, in my opinion, rather suspicious.

As for the fans, only very few were fooled, lol. I have seen a few Cascio track defenders but they seem to be a minority. Either way, the songs still suck; even the critics pointed out at the time that they weren't "up to standard", and for once I have to agree.

They can’t say they’re sorry or admit anything or the fans will ask for refunds etc. It would be a disaster for them

I think the majority of fans don't care about refunds. All they want is to see those 3 fake songs removed from Michael's official discography. This isn't about money

I would say “Congrats on fooling the goofy ass casuals of the world into thinking your hilarious almost parodyEsque imitation and terrible goaty forced/unnatural vibrato and tone deaf caterwauling excuse for singing are the vocals of the greatest vocalist of all time. Well done!”

But the 'Invincible' album is actually shorter than his 2 previous studio albums.

'Dangerous' album - 77:03 minutes

'HIStory' album (second disc) - 77:14 minutes

'Invincible' album - 77:01 minutes

One gets the feel that the 'Invincible' album is perhaps a bit too long apparently because the second half of it has too many ballads that make the album sound that it never ends.

LOL It's just few seconds.

But tracks wise Vince is MJ's longest album.

Dangerous - 14 songs
HIStory (continues) - 15 songs
Invincible - 16 songs

I've actually met Jason before and we've spoken on several occasions. Honestly a pretty nice guy. Mostly talked about music stuff. Not mj. Dude really doesn't deserve all of the hate he gets.
Jason Malachi deserves no hate. Well. Very little. Not when the casinos are right there.

Not even the Cascios deserve the hate mainly. It's weird how much your view on it changes once you know the entire story. Sounds odd but I can't really elaborate more on it. I'm just saying the entire idea to do the fake songs was neither the Cascios or Jason.

They could have said no
