For RJ's 2006 album of beats the song ride with me samples a recording MJ did from the invincible sessions (he didn't sing exclusively that one line for the RJ's song.) Does anyone know what unreleased song it is that that "Baby stayyyeee" is from?

It was first used in the song "It's Not Worth It" by Brandy on her Full Moon album. i LOVE that song.
I don't know if Rodney just used a vocal sample from a recording session or if he asked him to do that specifically for Brandys song (as her album and Invincible were around the same time).

It was probably just a vocal sample from a recording session he used on the Brandy song (before or after the Ride With Me song he did).

If you haven't heard the Brandy song:

It's throughout the song.

It was my understanding at the time that MJ contributed the vocal for Brandy's song.

I don't see why not. She spoke about it in an interview at the time, and also spoke of doing background vocals on Unbreakable.
