i was wonder where people are staying in london on the 13th of july as i am going over on my own and want to stay where other people are. i hope you can help me.

I also have no idea where people are staying!
I've spoken to a few people online and they said they're sleeping outside the O2.
Frankly as long as I go, I don't care where I sleep! haha.

I think all of us people that are going alone should have central meet up point to go to.
That way we'll be grouped together. Strangers sure, but not alone!

I'm going on my own, but I don't live too far from London so am hoping to be in my own bed at the end of the night.

At first I was going to be coming up on my own and staying quite a few hours.
Then things changed and now I'm coming up with a friend, because we both live an hour away - by train - from London we're going to have to leave before twelve

If I would have stayed up there I would have bought myself a sleeping bag or something but with Lisa090982's post I am very glad I didn't now, thanks Lisa

I would recommend you book into a B&B when you get to London, or pre-book a travelodge or similar. Otherwise you could be stranded, because I hear the gathering could end at 1am. I already had a hotel booked because I was going to be at the opening night show, so I'm going to use that one.

I have a friend who lives in Charlton so if I'm not up to driving back to the coast where I live might kip on her sofa!
