why did Michael call nurse Lee and not Murray on the 21st

"I can't believe after a scare like that he would keep relying on Murray and taking propofol "

I also can't understand why MJ would call the nurse on 21st - yet continue to take propofol after a scare like that, and then receive the concerned fans letters on 24th and STILL continue to take propofol & various sedatives.

It makes no sense.

What did the fans say to him on the 24th? :(

-------------
Cherilyn Lee: "what happened was, I was actually at the hospital myself. I was in the emergency room in St. Petersburg. And was being admitted myself. So I tried to call back later and I could not reach anyone. And I was - I was in Florida for a couple of days there. When I arrived back in L.A., I still was trying to reach, you know, I could not reach anyone. So I didn't know whether or not he had gone."

Why couldn't she get back in contact with anyone? Did she really try?

Hello Beachlover,

Faheed Muhammed was supposedly the person who introduced Nurse Practitioner Lee to Michael
.

In the interviews I've seen, she doesn't give the name of the person.

Do you know where that comes from?

Now honestly, I think the only reason she came forward was to be sure she had her say on the news because her name was brought up during the investigation and she wanted to clear herself of any wrong doing.

.

I don't remember if she went public after Murray mentioning her

to the police or later. I'll try to find that out.

Murray mentioned this in his police interview and she came out right after that I believe. As far as 'who' it was, it was mentioned in an interview that I read and now can't find. I want to say it was either Associated Press or CNN because I don't often listen to many other sights.

The way I remember it is that Lee went public and mentioned a cocktail

of vitamins, and then Conrad said, later, that Lee was giving MJ a ' cocktail

of Propofol.'

Now I'm confused. After a quick search, I've found that Lee went public

at least as early as June 30th if not sooner.

" Cherilyn Lee told us she never gave Michael Propofol or Diprivan. Lee said she gives people "nutritional cocktails" and Dr. Murray must have jumped to conclusions."

I'm looking for the police affidavit now ;)

" On June 27,2009, detective Smith and your affiant met with Murray and his attorneys for an interview", says the affidavit. Also, " At one time Murray noticed and inquired about
injection marks on Jackson's hands and feet. Jackson stated that Doctor Cherilyn Lee had
been giving him a 'cocktail' to help him. Murray believed the cocktail to be a Propofol
( Diprivan) mix."

You're correct in that Murray mentioned Lee to the police on June 27th
before the nurse going public, but Lee could not have known that since
the date of the police affidavit is July 22nd.

Well, WE could not have known that. I don't know what Lee knew.

Thank you for responding.

What you've written has made me remember what Arnold Klein

said about him thinking that someone else ( like a nurse) had to

be there administering Propofol in addition to Murray.

Now THAT is interesting.

I remember when Cherilynn Lee was asked about the person that made the phone call, she replied something like 'I'm not ready to call any names at the moment'. She didn't know who it was? or she knew but didn't want to say? or maybe she didn't want to say because she was lying about the phone call?...who knows..

I personally want to believe her. At least she didn't support the story about Michael's drug addiction.

I thought that it said the name of the person that called in one of the warrants or something. I know I've read it in one of those documents, where her name is mentioned and she mentions the name of the person who called.

Also, she gave all this information to the police. Couldn't they have confirmed that phone call with her cell phone records?

I don't remember the exact titles other than Nurse Practitioner, but she is medically
qualified to do more than a Licensed Nurse is.
She was in FL that day but lives in CA. MJ wouldn't have known where she was since
it had been a couple of months or so since they had last spoken.

Yes, I have heard she was a Nurse Practitioner more than once, which is far more than just a nurse. We have a NP here at our local medical building, and we call her "Dr." She treats patients just like the regular doctors there do.

Now THAT is interesting.

It's in Arnold's interview with TMZ. He said to have been told

by people in his office that Michael called two weeks before

his passing asking for an anesthesiologist. The TMZ guy asked

what would be the need for that if he had Murray at home with

him, and Arnold said that he didn't think Murray knew how to

work the IV well.

I think what Dr Klein was saying in the interview was logical. Most doctors don't have a lot of practice starting an IV, at least not a regular peripheral line as you would use to give some of the drugs mentioned that Murray had given.

Maybe Murray had changed his mind also or felt it was too much for him to continue doing so.

it is no secret that MJ tried to get an anesthesiologist beside Murray , he and murray both went to see doctor Adams in march , he also asked Lee for anesthesiologist, Murray also asked a fellow doctor to join him but he turned him down because he could not leave his practice and family for a long time .

Hello MicHil,

Do you remember the source to this?
i would like to know cos i have yet to hear about this.

if you can remember, it would be very helpful to me.

The visit to Adams between March and April is

mentioned on page 20 in the search and warrant

affidavit.

A Las Vegas anesthesiologist linked by Dr. Conrad Murray to the drug use of Michael Jackson did administer a sleeping drug to the pop star four times, but not under the conditions that Murray told investigators.

That account by Las Vegas attorney Libo Agwara came days after a search warrant was unsealed that revealed new details about the Los Angeles Police Department's investigation.
The warrant includes statements made by Murray, the Las Vegas doctor at the center of the investigation, who told authorities he administered propofol to Jackson minutes before he died. Murray told investigators that in March or April he witnessed Dr. David Adams administer the same drug to Jackson in a cosmetology office, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Agwara, Adams' attorney, said Murray's claims were false.

"My client has never been to a cosmetologist to do anything," Agwara said. "That doesn't make any sense."

Adams did administer the powerful drug to Jackson four times last year and did meet with Murray in March, Agwara said from his office on Sahara Avenue.

Adams, a roving anesthesiologist, has used the drug on more than 6,000 patients since he started practice in 2003. "All 6,000-plus people woke up," Agwara said.

Physicians in hospitals, medical centers and doctors offices contact Adams to put people under for surgeries and other medical procedures.

In 2008, a surgical dentist in Las Vegas contacted Adams for his services regarding a "VIP," Agwara said. The VIP was Jackson, and Adams was made to swear to confidentiality before doing the work. Agwara wouldn't say who the dentist was.

Jackson was undergoing "extensive dental work," Agwara said. Over the course of a few months, Adams administered the sedative four times for the dental procedures.

Adams didn't have contact again with Jackson until Murray called him in March. He did not know Murray, according to Agwara.

"Dr. Murray called, said 'Can we meet?'" Agwara said. "My client said, 'Who are you?' He said, 'Well, I'm Michael Jackson's personal doctor.' ... He said, 'Mr. Jackson remembered you from when you assisted in one of his surgical procedures.'"

Adams met with Murray and Jackson at Murray's office that month, Agwara said.

Agwara wouldn't say what took place during the meeting, but he said his client did not administer propofol or anything else to Jackson during the meeting. "Murray has never witnessed my client administer propofol to anyone," Agwara said. "He's never witnessed my client administer anything to anyone."

Authorities have subpoenaed medical records from Adams, the warrant states, according to the Los Angeles Times. But Agwara said his client has not been given a subpoena and has not been asked for medical records.

"The authorities have assured me time and again that my client has never been a target of any investigation, has never been under investigation, and they have not uncovered anything that will make him a target of any investigation," Agwara said.

Jackson died in June. A law enforcement official told The Associated Press this week that a coroner ruled the pop star's death a homicide and that a combination of drugs was the cause.

Agwara said Adams has not had any complaints or disciplinary action against him. The Nevada Board of Osteopathic Medicine's Web site shows Adams has not had any reports of malpractice or disciplinary issues.

Agwara said Murray has given propofol a bad name.

"It is a wonderful, wonderful drug for professionals who know how to use it in a medical setting," he said.

"In May , Murray said yes to Jackson , and in the last few months he made several trips to Los Angeles to make out the details of the contract and to meet the star. One of Murray's patients , Donna DiGiacoma, 51, said she had heard that Murray had asked a colleague -a hospital doctor- to join Jackson's medical team , but that doctor said he could not leave his family and business for such a long period of time" .

another very interesting part of the article:

" Murray stayed at his own place in Los Angeles on most nights .But when asked,
and only on occasion, he spent the night at Jackson's rented Holmby Hills home, one of the doctor's attorneys, Matt Alford, told FOXNews.com in an earlier interview."

Murray moved partially to Los Angeles in February (at least) , his girlfriend gave birth to their child on march 2 , 2009 . He went with MJ to meet Dr. Adams in march , Lee was asked to introduce MJ to an anaethesist at Easter time . and then murray was still searching for another doctor to join him .

Murray lied when he said he joined MJ in May , he was always part of the medical team but he was not supposed to be the one giving propofol .

also on 1st of April Murray rented the infamous storage in Houston . 42 days before he bought propofol from applied pharamcy .

The guy TMZ said during the interview with Klein, ' we have reason

to believe that Murray was there a lot longer than six weeks.'

To me Mike did not trust Murray, especially during the last days.
His call to Lee was a cry for help?? makes my heart sink...
He didn't know where else to turn and something was definitely not right.
He was afraid of firing Murray just days before the concert and he didn't trust AEG or any other doctor they might bring.
Just a theory of mine.

yeah there is evidence he was there since at least February , but not giving propofol , he was the one who would monitor and revive incase something went wrong , he was aware of everything way before May and only when no anaesthetist agreed to join the medical team Murray PRESENTED himself as the one who would do it but for a "salary that could have bought a hospital in the UK" . He took advantage of MJ , MJ initial plan was to get a professional on propofol , Murray was just plan Z.

There has been one this that has been bothering me about the 21st. When Michael was saying that one side of his body was hot and the other cold Nurse Lee told them to take him to a hospital immediately. Michael was no stranger to hospitals over the years. Why would they not take him to a hospital this time? Especially when they were just told his symptoms indicated something serious.

You're right.

I remember reading from one of his bodyguards, that he took Michael to the hospital overnight for something. I don't remember it bing as serious as Michael's condition in Lee's story though.

Anyways, the reason he told the story was to tell of the teddy bear he bought Michael to keep him company overnight. It was a cute story.

I read that story someplace on these threads not long after June. If only I can find it.

mike laperruqe told it. but it was a planned over night stay. he was having something done. it wasnt that he was taken there cause he was ill

maybe mj didnt want go. this ones a strange story not sure what to make of it. why call lee and not murray or any of his other docs? cause the reaction was from something she gave him. reaction to the nutritional stuff.but she hadnt worked for him for ages, i dunno something doesnt fit

thanks for the article Soundmind.
I'll look this over carefully tonight.

oh, i see. thanks for clearing that up.

And no, I would not understand why no one would take him to a hospital if he was hot and cold at the same time. Or did he have a doctor come over to his house and doctor him their??? And if someone did come over, I wonder if they handled it the right way.

Just like those heart problems Michael was having the night before he died, since the doctor refused to take him to the hospital when Michael asked him, I wonder if that cardiologist handled Michael's heart problems the right way...
