I am writing a piece on pop culture for my final class, American Pop Culture & the week 1 paper due in Jan 2013, is based primarily on what American pop culture is.

What are 3 major trends in popular American culture?
How does popular American culture affect personal decision making?


The latter question is what I am focused on more however MJ stands out in all of it. First, I wanted to ask everyone here & take my word I will not use your answer/s specifically but I need to have an idea on how to articulate Micheal.

I don't know what is expected from you, but maybe you can use some ideas mentioned in the article.
