Xuxa interview about Michael

There was an interview with Xuxa last Sunday, showed in "Fantastico", a Globo network TV program. She talks about the experience of meeting Michael at Neverland......

She said.....

Michael's management wanted him to get married, have children. And they were looking for someone. At that time I was working in Spain. I was called to his show. And I, obviously, as a fan, was crazy about him, I said: I'm going to see! I took a picture with him, all these things. He was sucking on a lollipop, I took the lollipop he was sucking on and took it with me, like a fan does.

Just afterwards, they called me to go to Neverland. They wanted me to talk to him. He knew everything about my life, he read everything about me. I arrived there, had dinner with him, we saw a movie together, all these things.


And after that, an offer came from his manager: If I didn't think of, suddenly, staying with him. I said: How's that? It's that he would love to have children, to get married. And they thought it was cool to have this connection. Someone that works with children in South America and he, that loves children. He showed me just children related things. All his videos. I cried, obviously that I was going to cry. On Michael Jackson's side, sat in a cinema, at his house. How wasn't I going to cry. I cried my eyes out. He held my hand and the more he held my hand the more I cried. For me, he's an idol, but from idol to something else it's quite different. And then it didn't work. My answer, obviously, was No. I stay with someone I fall in love with.

Yes, she began being famous in the 80's with a children TV show. She is owner of a huge enterprise, she was (is?) one of the most powerful woman in Brazil. (According to wikipedia her fortune is estimated at US$ 1 billion). But she's also known for her charities activities.

In short, she has a good name, that's why we speculate about this interview

I use to be a fan of Xuxa and her show when I was a kid. But this story is weird. Many people around MJ were questionable and what they may have wanted for him doesn't equal to what MJ may have wanted. And maybe that is what happen here? :blink: I mean how does she know if this was the truth when MJ never said anything to her himself?! lol I say never quote others with a story like this...better yet don't tell stories like this about MJ period!

That story is too bizzare and cant be verified so why not just leave it private even if it indeed happen. I myself doubt it. Does she give a timeline of when this took place? Why bring it up now when he is not here to say otherwise. Also a lot is lost in the translation. At the time MJ was planning on children Frank Casico was there. He helped MJ find a surrogate for blanket So maybe he could verify or shut this down.

I never heard of this woman till now but I did read that Flo Anthony mentioned Michael dating an artist in the early 90s who was of african or south american origin and that she believed he was going to get engaged or was engaged to her. Who knows maybe all of this is true except the part about the management wanting him to marry and have kids. I dont believe that. Its Michael who wanted that. I think I read somewhere he has someone in mind for who he wanted to be the mother of his kids.

I have no idea whether this story is true of not, but it does sound a bit weird.

If it was in 1992 I believe it even less. I also don't think Michael would allow his management to get involved in his private matters and romantic life. Or maybe if it really happend then his management was joking or Michael was fooling this woman. I really don't believe it happened in a serious way. And someone said earlier in this thread this woman played in an adult movie and I also read on her Wiki page she posed in Playboy. I doubt this is what Michael wanted for a wife. So if it happened I suppose Michael or/and his management were joking and teasing the woman.

This decision to share with the world bizarre mj stories happens to huge numbers of people. It's almost a medical condition. A personal acquaintance with mj isn't even a requirement.

What is really ridiculous, is that we have this popular media narrative of mj being a power only to himself and surrounded by yes men and running alongside this, the portrayal of mj being told to get married and have a family by his arab business partners and managers.

I saw parts of that movie, Love, Strange Love. Xuxa is not the main actress in the movie. When the movie was made she was an unknown actress. She plays only a small part, but when she rose to fame, those selling the movie started using her name, advertising it as she was the main actress, when in fact it was Vera Fisher. They even changed the cover of the VHS tape, splashing a picture of Xuxa naked, instead of a pic of Vera.

In the movie, she appears dressed up as a bear to entertain a rich man. She strips off and tries to seduce the 12 years old boy.

She was asked more than once about the movie and she says she does not regret anything she did and considers the movie just work. However, even saying she does not regret doing the movie, she filed a legal suit and eventually won to get the movie banned in Brazil.

I don't know if Michael would mind to marry someone who starred in a soft porn movie and posed for Playboy. Imo if he really loved her, he wouldn't mind.

She did not thought with the brain before making this movie. For me, I see as one try to appear desperate and become famous quickly. -_- It was obvious that this movie come to the surface when she became famous.
