You Think Jacksons will Have a Civil Suit?

I was watching the news & they said that although there is no evidence to support I think they said, 1st degree, maybe it was 2nd degree murder, the family can take Dr. Conrad Murray to a civil court & have him civilly charged with murder in ... whatever degree. Can the family do this? If Dr. Murray is found not guilty? Even if hes found guilty??
 
If the family want to try and get any money out of Murray its pointless as he doesnt have any.

I think they will sue. Although monetary damages are asked for in civil suits, that's not the only reason people sue. The doctor could make money in the future for his story about MJ & that would be one reason, answers could be another. His insurance could pay too, I suppose. They can still sue for wrongful death even if he's acquitted.

3T sued Bohanna for murdering Deedee & he didn't have any money either.
 
I hope they have PIs investigating.
The truth is not that hard to discover-pieces fall easily together-as long as they do it on their own.
There was motive to kill Michael-law enforcement agencies are not eager to go down that road.

But I think the point will be to sue whomever is responsible in a civil case. It is like the OJ civil trial, the Goldman's didn't care about the money--they wanted OJ to be found guilty-which happened. And then, of course, karma kicked in here in Vegas--he now sits in jail for armed robbery. I hope the family does go after the people really responsible--Murray may or may not be included in that lawsuit. If you read between the lines, this is exactly what they plan to do.

Yes Maria! There has to be more charges coming than just Murray! This truth needs to be exposed. The World deserves to know the truth this time! We have to fight for the truth!

This is my understanding of a Civil Lawsuit too.

I think there will definately be one. I know I would file one if MJ was my Brother!

This is exactly what came to mind as I read the question of this thread.
 
That's what T-mez said on Jane Velez Friday. He said there, why take him to court for 1st or 2nd degree murder and the chances of losing the case would be too high. He said going for Manslaughter, he's more likely to be convicted and get some jail time. And the family could still I think do a lawsuit. But I think it would have to be a wrongful death lawsuit, not murder.
