iTunes says that Thriller was released in 1981, Off The Wall in 1978 and Bad in 1986.. They have messed up with those year numbers?

Also Ultimate Collection and The Essential MJ were released in 1971 and Number Ones and HIStory in 1978! WTH?

Is it possible they would have them right? There's an option you can sort by release dates so if you do that the order is completely false.

If You bothered by this, then I strongly would not recommend You to read Michael's "Biography" at iTunes, because it is collection of ignorant lies, slant and slander.

According to iTunes Michael's Ultimate Collection box set was released in "1971".

Not only are the dates of the releases of Michael's albums are highly in accurate. But some of Michael's songs/videos are classed in the wrong music genre, ie the video of Dirty Diana (Live) is classed in the genre of R&B/Soul when it's a Pop/Rock song and video, while videos for Remember The Time and You Rock My World are more R&B/Soul's song but it's iTunes have it as a Pop genre video. These make no sense when Dirty Diana is obviously a Pop/Rock song.

I don't think the people working on iTunes know anything about the artists (or music in general) that they sell. Albums by both David Bowie and Prince also have a number of inaccurate information about them on there pages, such as the wrong release dates etc.

Can't we correct this!? If we bomb them they will understand more..?

I think they list some of those albums somehow when the first track from it was released back in days. You know, the first song from TUC was released in 1971..? That's stupid!!!

I don't read Michael's biographies! :) I know enough of him. It's their problem if they write lies. It just makes them look stupid. I think if someone is really interested in Michael he/she can easily find out what is the real fact.

I'm not to sure where to contact iTunes staff. Something sure need to be done to the release dates of Michael's albums.

As for Michael's biography. I think iTunes use MTV's biographies of artists, as there's appears to be more a less the same as MTV's. But they both need changing as they are full of tabloid junk.

They credit Willie Hutch's stuff as rock & roll though he was SOUL!

So no shock, they also have album liner notes to describe the Supremes, lol.

Very unprofessional.

What does this bs mean to the music itself!?! Soon teenagers think Madonna is blues and Michael is polka. That is not funny!!
