Michael Jackson's Thriller 25 is #1 on Top Catalog Albums for the seventh straight week. Its sales of 26,000 would have placed it #15 on the main chart if older catalog albums were allowed to compete there. This is the longest continuous run at #1 on the catalog chart since Johnny Cash's 16 Biggest Hits had 10 straight weeks on top two years ago. The Cash collection had 26 weeks at #1 all told.

WOW, this is phenomenal

Seconded!

Top 10 after 8 weeks, for a 25 year old album, with no promo videos and 1 single release - this really is amazing!!

I knew 'fans' would buy the album - as we all do - but after 8 weeks? This just goes to show how many 'closet' MJ fans there are across the UK (and the USA looking at the sales figures again this week), and also bodes well for the future album.

The MJ 'haters' may get all the focus and attention in the UK and the USA, but Mike has an awful lot of people who love his music and his talent - that's why his albums will always sell millions across the world.

Don't believe the negative hype guys - this is another MJ release to be proud of!!

I Can Only Imagine: Ultimate Power Anthems Of The Christian Faith replaces Michael Jackson's Thriller 25 at #1 on Top Catalog Albums. Thriller 25 falls to no.2 in next week's chart.

Not doing too well in the UK or across the rest of the World though - this 'mighty' "Ultimate Power Anthems Of The Christian Faith" album!
