Me too my grandpas both past away last year and I never met my grandmother. I really miss my grandpas though :cry:

In the days of Jesus, the sheepfold was a sanctuary used by shepherds to protect their sheep at night from attacks by wild animals like wolves. Typically, sheepfolds were enclosed by a wall all around that often had a layer of thorns on top for protection. In some cases Sheepfolds were low buildings or enclosed court yards, but in all cases they were designed to provide protection for the sheep.

On the spiritual side of things the sheepfold is symbolic of the kingdom of heaven and the sheep are symbolic of God people who are under Gods protection. The wolves and other wild animals that eat the sheep represent the devil. The door is symbolic of Christ, who is the passageway to salvation. The thieves and robbers who do not enter through the door are false teachers who are not of the kingdom of God. They seek to gain the confidence of the sheepfold so that they can take advantage of and abuse the sheep. They come to steel, kill and destroy and in this respect they are no different that the wild animals and wolves who feed on the sheep.

Jesus’ message also means that all of the messiahs that arrived prior to Jesus were false and that He is the only way to salvation. He is the Door to salvation and to a more abundant and everlasting life. Jesus is the only way to the kingdom of God.

I'm struggling a bit right now. I feel as if Satan is trying to interfere with my learning of the Bible and my relationship with God. I've been kinda angry at him since I found out my pastor was leaving.

I need prayers and guidance.

for me...i got holed up in a room and read the King James, by myself, after a pastor left me, and made me feel i was going to hell. naturally, being scared, i checked the book, and found out he was wrong. and that he was into skipping much scripture. you can't look at the person next to you, when your soul is on the line. you gotta look in the book for yourself.

Well, my anger at God is more like, "How can you do this to us? We love our pastor; he's a great man. Why do You want him to leave us?"

Hey Jaye! Isn't your pastor choosing to leave?? It's him doing that, not God. God may have a different plan for him, and your pastor is going to where God want him in his life. Don't be angry, hun.

Mostly this is spoken of as Michael the Archangel, but that is only one interpretation. :) Not that I hope we are in the end of times, mind, but what if.... what if it was our Michael referred to here? :wub: It sure fits the description!

My baby cousin William, a.k.a. Liam, arrived at 2:15 this morning, weighing 6 lbs 9 oz and is 19.5 inches long. His middle name is Michael. He has brown hair and blue eyes. I've seen a picture of him and he is sooo precious and a wonderful blessing from God. Thanks for your prayers, everyone!

No, they're not. My cousin's wife, Mika, is named after her dad, and his name is Michael. So that's where that came from!

I have been searching for what u guys read that says Michael converted to christianity and was saved,,,,,i have not found it yet.....please tell me where you read this,,,i looked on the Mary Msry blog but that does not really say /mchael was converted and was saved....I have been hoping and praying that he was saved when he died so could you please let me know where you saw this?

First of all, welcome to the thread, Mary! Nice to have you.

Secondly, I am not sure. I have not read anything saying that he converted or that he was saved. I really hope he was. Maybe someone else knows for sure.
