Prince is so well spoken and mature. That was the first time I remember seeing him speak since the Bashir interview. It almost made me forget he is still a kid. Paris is very emotional. She loves and misses her dad. Anyone know where Blanket was?

i'm sure Michael is soooooooo proud of them....yesterday on stage were bth his legacies:his children and his music!

Does anyone know why Michael was not included in the Grammy memorial reel that they always do? I was actually really relieved to not have to see him in there- I'd been dreading it :/ .. but I"m still curious to know why he was left out. In past years, they've included people who were given an extra performance (like James Brown).

Those are such sweet children...and they did such a wonderful job accepting the award :yes:
Gee, that really brought tears to my eyes...even more than the 3D tribute.
But just thinking of how proud Michael must be right now makes my heart happy :wub:

Blanket looks cute. They were nervous but they both did good. They just seem like the sweetest kids ever.

Just saw the tribute and the children now. wow I never really thought they would come, Prince and Paris were the highlight of the whole night !!
Michael was ment to perform this year :cry:.
I think both of them and Blanket too will all be very successful musicians in the near future, if anyone can break MJ's records its his children !!

Out of all the performers at the tribute, I think Usher was the worst, but it was an amazing performance and MJ's voice sounded AMAZING !!. But IMO the VMA's is still the best tribute

Maybe 20 or 30 years from now: President Prince Michael Jackson 1.

They did a good job and even after he's gone, still giving love to his fans through his kids.

They did a great job, and Michael have done a great job with them.

And yes, it was "3T" with them, Tito's sons.

I was so impressed by their maturity and poise when they were on that stage. So mature for their age. I know this wasn't easy for them, but I applaud what they did. Michael would be so proud of them. In fact, when Prince was speaking, I felt like his father was right there next to him. Prince's poise and posture as he was holding the world just reminded me of Michael. I know he's with them every day, protecting them. Both Prince and Blanket are going to grow up to be handsome men and Paris, a beautiful young woman. I can't imagine the pain they've been through for the past 7 months. I'm proud of them and so is Michael.

Bless them all.

i'm gonna watch it right now,i waited the entire night but couldn't go on at the very last minute...I'm relieved they did well from the comments and pics and press.I was so scared...

lol hey come on, give them a bit of space... maybe they will become successfull doctors, teachers, lawyers, politicians, social workers, prof of sciences, writers, art painters, f1 drivers, whatever one can imagine well yeah lol or musicians of cuz... it seems they do have a huge potential and I hope they will be allowed and supported in whatever they want to go for.

Paris and Prince did both great although they both seemed pretty nervous. But they can surely be proud of themselves.

I just hope all those analyzing every word, look, move, feature of the kids now will know some mercy on them... because they are children and they've lost their Dad not even a year ago.

All they need to know and feel is that Michael is indeed very proud of them. They made him smile.

that was really a great speech from prince. i just dont get what paris meant when she said "Daddy was supposed to be here. Daddy was going to perform this year, but he couldn't perform last year". can anybody explain this??? this year, last year... am i missing something? i dont get it!
 
I am so proud of the kids, they are the perfect response to all his accusers and haters !!!

yeah, agree, it was so touching and I am sure that MJ is proud of them wherever he is now ;)

God bless them and I love you MJ, I miss you so much!

I am sure that his kids' appearance made him smile again :) I would give anything to see him smiling again ;(
 
I was so against the children speaking. I just watched it and they did great. It really seemed like they wanted to be there to pick up the award on their daddy's behalf.

Prince did so well, he was very nervous but pulled himself thrue. It was like I heard Michael doing his speech. He probably would have said the exact same words.

It made me so sad though, cos all of a sudden reality hit me. The kids were there because Michael can't receive the award. He's gone and we'll never see him on stage anymore. Those kids seem stronger then me and it's their daddy......

I really really hope that Michael is looking at his children and is so damn proud of them!!!

KEN EHRLICH (Grammys producer): Last year at this time, it was the 25th anniversary of Thriller and I was talking about having Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown – before the troubles – and Ne-Yo do a whole thing that ended with Michael. It would have started with two or three of them pretending to be Michael, and then Michael would be revealed. I pitched it to him, and I thought I had him. And he just said, “I’m not ready.. .I’ll be with you next year.” It wasn’t to be.
