Michael's history with Sony

I do think that Sony owed Michael an apology after Mottola was fired, just to set the record straight and define their position that this war against him was not corporate policy.
I haven't come across any such statement so far.

thank you for sharing. I am posting this in my FB, this must be known... however, the missing link for me is why MJ kept working with Sony in other more recent projects, such as Thriller 25th. Or those were part of the deal he talks about in the demo when he said "Tommy Mottola is..."? :scratch: Could some of you please help me in this question? Please!
 
I don't know what to think about it.....

I mean, if there are real suspitions about the signature, can't it be analysed by specialists?
 
i know of relatives who forge each others' signatures and get away with it. in many cases, if someone wants to get away with the nefarious, they can, just like if someone wants to commit an act of terroism against a country that thinks it's terror proof, an act can be committed against it.

the link you posted has nothing to do with what's being discussed in that link with Michael talking in the video. are you going to call Michael a conspiracy theorist?

this is the real world. where people operate in clandestine fashion. you may want to close your eyes. it is what it is.

there are no enemy fans here. let's all have opinions..agree to disagree, and move on, as mods often say, rather than telling fans what opinions, to have, and not to have...which is against the rules.

I think you're again forgetting that Michael has stated at least 5 times publicly regarding a conspiracy against him. "Conspiracy" gets a bad rap as people think aliens and crazy people etc but Michael knew better than you and I regarding what he knew was a conspiracy against him in Sony. This is fact.
 
Very informative video, I did not know that sony wanted the catalogue for the release of the charity single, now that is terrible in a different level.

But for Thriller 25, Sony has the rights to release the music until 2011 and now 2017 because they had the masters, and they did that as a sign of good deeds for the future with Michael.
 
thanks for the vid but is there any documentation about any of this? All of this seems plausible but MJ's charity song seemed a bit out of stretch..
 
Thank you so much for sharing, sony really sucks, they sabotaged single "This is it" for example, this single was supposed to be the best selling single of all time, it would have been charity single and earn a lot of money for Michael´s children. Wouldn´t you buy this single if you´ll know that Prince, Paris and Blanket will get your money? Than you aren´t Michael´s fan! I´d be glad if I could support Michael´s family when Michael is gone. They have a lot of debts. Sony knows about it and that´s why they didn´t released it. Only IQ 0,6 fans would think that sony sabotaged only Invincible. They sabotaged all Michael´s projects untill now. Thriller 25 helped them in telling the public that Michael is just 80´s star which is not able to do something new, so they didn´t sabotaged it as much as other Michael´s projects. Since 1999 they startedto destroy Michael´s career and 10 years later they murdered him.

I know but we have a seperate forum for that. All we're saying is that you can discuss Sony conspiracy about Michael's death in there, just not on here. Other members gets upset when conspiracy talk is discussed in the main forums which is why we seperate them to keep everyone happy.
 
Ok, but this thread is not about conspiracy but about the video, of course here and there somebody says something bad about sony, but it´s regarding the video and theme "Michael's history with Sony". i know that a lot of people would like us to say nothing bad about sony in general discussion, so they´re trying to separate us in some lees frequented threads, but I´ll say it again, all we´re talking about is "Michael's history with Sony" + the video.
 
i'm sorry to have to say this, but if some people would give Michael the kind of latitude they give to sony, i'd be a very happy person.

the idea of sony backing MJ into a corner, by using his charity song to try to get him to lose the catalogue, is right along the pattern of sony's behaviour. and i believe it. i believe it, simply, also, because sony knew of the powr of his music, and they just 'promoted' other music from Invincible, JUST BECAUSE of ying yang. MJ chose one song, they chose another, simply because it's one that MJ didn't initially choose. and their hard hearts prevented them from acknowledging that no matter what song they chose, it would be a hit. so..they were psuedo-surprised at YRMW's success. i credit the power of MJ's music for preventing sony from being able to force MJ into possible bankruptcy. any other artist would have been bankrupted, by sony's underhanded tactics.

That's because I deleted a few conspiracy related posts which is why you don't see them. Its just a general warning. By all means talk about Sony screwing Michael time and time again but posting links to petitions to get Sony and John Branca investigated for their role in Michael's death is not which is what happened in here.
 
Sony & Conspiracy go hand in hand. Michael told us this over 4 times. Are we disputing that? You cant talk about Sony and Michael without somewhere coming across the fact that theyve been major issues between them which Michael called a conspiracy. And this is not just with Invincible, thats narrow minded thinking. Michael was even discussing the conspiracy against with Sony as far as 2005.

So if Mods have a prob with us discussing Sony's history with Michael then we'll take Michael and all of those related threads to the IU where we are allowed to discuss what Michael told us.
 
well..generally speaking, sony was no life partner for MJ, anyway. trying to take away his kids' livelyhood, through trying to take the catalogue, is a way of killing him, and his kids. so..no matter how you slice it, sony killed MJ, anyway, by sabotaging his creativity, and not thinking about his children. and..so, it's safe to say, they don't care about his children, either. Mike's savvy moves, are the only saving grace for his children.

Its not whether or not I want to or any other members want to. I just a fact. You cant ignore it and why should we? In fact Michael told us to not forget what he told us. I find it odd that you must have a PW to be able to discuss what Michael has mentioned. Its almost like censoring Michael isnt it?

I moved it from discussion to here. That was posted when it was in discussion. Talk about whatever you like now. As myself and other mods have told you all not everyone wants to hear about conspiracy's and hoaxs which is why we keep everything seperate. We're not silencing you, you can say what you like in the conspiracy forum but don't bring it onto other sections. I moved it here so you can say what you like now and talk about conspiracys. You guys are not the only members here, we're the ones getting PMs from upset members because there is conspiracy stuff all over the forum. This is why there is a separate section for it. Please, all I'm asking you to do is respect that.
