I remember 'Rolling Stone' magazine saying 'Thriller' would not be a success!

They have tried to destroy everything Michael has done since - and failed every time. Even MJ's so-called 'failures' sell numbers other artists would give their right arm for.

Let's go out and buy this for Michael - and prove them wrong yet again!

Who cares? Critics have always been out of touch with reality regarding Michael, IMO. Here is this guy once again acting as if Michael didn't exist past Thriller. The same old, tired BS about which we all know it isn't true. Thriller wasn't even his best album and most fans I know would agree about that.

That's true. Also people in the media only say that Thriller is his best album because it's the one that sold the most copy's. If HIStory was MJ biggest selling album then they'd be calling that his best work

So the media's way of thinking is better record sales = better music, but that's not always true

I agree. And thing is on any board I go Dangerous usually easily wins "MJ's best album" polls among fans. (To me Bad is up there too.) So much about the "he didn't create anything signficant past Thriller" mantra of those deaf critics. And he would have created even more wonderful stuff if they had left him alone with those false accusations.

Why would anyone autotune MJ?
His voice is great!! They wouldn't be using any pieces with Michael singing poorly, since that would be Michael.


Guys, really.... can we just WAIT AND TRY TO KEEP POSITIVE? I am reading all the posts and some are great, but I still see some of us just focusing in the possible problmes they think the album might have.

Was the use of that?

Let's enjoy de moment and the anticipation!!!!!!

Okay seriously what is going on in the Jackson family?
You've got the people saying the kids/Katherine don't think it's Michael but then you've got a tweet from Jackie saying the album sounds incredible?!

Someone is lying out there... Why would the kids/katharine have a problem with it yet Jackie doesn't?
The family needs to come out and say something personally about all of this because confusion is not helping the album at all.
Now Oxman is getting in on it as well, why can't it all just end?
And if it's true that the children are being forced to pick a side that just incredible sad.

I think I'm going to believe Jackie since that's the only one who so far has said anything about it personally. Maybe we should ask some other family members about it as well.

Of course it isn't. And they act like everything Michael did after that failed, when, in fact, nothing he did failed! Bad, Dangerous and History are all among the greatest selling albums of all times!

i am under the impression that this new music will be modern and so i'm assuming it to be quite like invincible stuff. i.e hip-hop/rnb
just wondering to the people who don't like invincible, what r u guys expecting..i mean r u bracing urselves for the same kinda thing or do u think it'll b totally different.
personally i love invincible so its no prob for me.. bt i'm curious what some of u guys might think...

I love Invincible but I think that MICHAEL will be much different. I think that all songs will sound fresh and ready to top the charts in 2010. Invincible was modern in 2001 and it still sounds good but it is 9 years old. If will.i.am tracks will be included and maybe even RedOne's that would give the album more current sound. And Rodney Jerkins had number one single last year with GaGa (Telephone), so I think that with all these hitmakers + The King = The masterpiece for 2010 and for ever...

Something ALWAYS happens when his albums are released!:glare: People who are narrow minded and stuck n their way will always find something to bitch about when it comes to Michael. I think that fans should just keep loving him and appreciate that we are getting to hear this stuff. Outsides will never understand us or his music like we do. Brace yourselves for a lot of shit talking is all I gotta say. No one is ever satisfied. I just say f*ck off to everyone else and don't care what the "critics" have to say! Here are five tracks that are likely to be on the new album "Michael", due out on December 14th:

- "Breaking News"
- "Monster"
- "Water"
- "Keep Your Head Up"
- "All I Need"

These new tracks were produced by brothers Cascios in 2007.

I'm hoping for a new and different sound for the new album. If the album has nice upbeat dance tracks and really strong melodies i'll be very happy. I'm not really interested in ''club bangers'' (I really hate that phrase by the way) that will sound dated in a few years from now. I'm interested in hearing music that is timeless.

we really have no idea. The songs selected may not even be the best unreleased one's although i hope they are. He needs something explosive as a first single. If it has to be slow for christmas make it haunting or beautiful, please not hold my hand. I am though rediculously happy about this, i could barely sleep last night, it felt like christmas used to as a kid.

You need atleast 1 or 2 ballads on there. MJ himself has said ''It's not a Michael Jackson album without the ballads'' but 1 or 2 is all we need. We suffered from ballad overload on Invincible
