Re: Monster - The Great Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

That's also why I attempted to open a thread regarding the mother tongue of each fan debating here. This could have helped because each language has a particular rane of frequencies. Some languages don't possess as many frequencies as others, and eventually some people don't hear some frequencies (e.g. accent, intonation, the msicof the language, etc.)

But the thread was wiped out.

They locked it?

That's interesting....

Re: Monster - The Great Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Indeed. One of those pictures even found it's way onto a memorial stone at Gary, Indiana where the family visited.

There are loyal fans, that I know of, who are deaf. Who are actually deaf - they cannot hear. So it's nothing to do with loyalty.

Exactly. It's the power of Michael. He's a force of nature.

One can be a loyal fan even one is deaf. A deaf person can still be visually mesmerized by the amazing dancer and live performer Michael Jackson was.

One can be a loyal fan even one is blind. A blind person can still hear the beautiful voice of Michael Jackson.

Oh man... how I miss him!!! This world is truly a much duller place now.

Stevie Wonder refers to Michael as a genius... and he's never even seen him dance!

You'll never see the like of Michael Jackson again. Simple as that.

Which is why instinct and careful use of the senses is such a huge part of this whole vocal debacle. It shouldn't be discredited, or brushed off.

You, my dear, are right :)

As per Elizabeth Taylor, I keep telling myself I'm fortunate enough to witness genius in my lifetime.

I totally agree with you. Sadly, many here discredtited our very own instincts and familiarity with Michael's voice as illogical.

All I'll say is this :)

Actually, as a nurse, I use instinct ALL the time, every situation I'm in...It's proved with research that instinct is a valid measuring tool as a health professional. If it's substantial enough to use in the health profession, I'd say it's pretty important aspect to rely on.

Re: Monster - The Great Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

Here is a table of some languages frequencies. Usually an adult speaker doesn't hear the missing range of frequencies in another language as he hears the frequencies only in his own language (unless the adult speaker has been polyglot since his young age --usually before puberty).

So here are the languages and their frequencies:

English (British)
French
Chinese
German
Spanish (European)
English (American)
Italian
Dutch (from The Netherlands)
Russian (as many other Slavic languages cover the biggest range of frequency)

It would be interesting to know if believers are polyglot or if they speak two different languages or what is their mother tongue and compare with doubters and see if they speak different languages. I wonder which group is more frequency-alerted or sensitive.

If your thread is gone (like you said)... maybe you could let us answer those questions via PM 's?

Re: Monster - The Great Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

how i wish i was 10 years older, so i could fully experience Michaelmania in the 80's, the magical era...

At that time I wanted so badly to see him on tour, but I lived in a country where he didn't come, so I promised myself to see him next time.

Next time was Dangerous (in the first raw) and History (near VIP place).

Re: Monster - The Great Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

... I hate being born in the mid 90s... I was FAR too young to see HIStory... That being said, I still have one of the original HIStory double albums from that era. I remember looking at the artwork and thinking how ominous the statue looked.

i still remember the first time i saw the dangerous album booklet. i was a teen. i was impressed, truly impressed. the cover, the artwork, the layout of lyrics... i had never seen something that exquisitely done.

compare to dangerous and history, the booklet of michael, the album, seems pale in comparision and amaterish.
