Jacksons & intervention claims (Read post#22 letter by Katherine & others DENYING interventions)

This will be very brief. We are looking for all legitimate news articles on Michael's drug problem and his family attempting intervention. Most importantly, we have seen a copy of a letter several siblings and Katherine signed denying the interventions.
Can you all post here all links and screencaptures you have supporting or not these interventions?
They can go as far back as 1993 but no articles, quotes:punk: after June 25th..

Thank you

I have seen the letter that went out sometime in 07 or 08 but unfortunately I didnt save them then.
Two signatures were missing however, that Janet and her bald headed brother.

If anyone can find it, this would be very helpful.

I too read it, I thought I still had it on my computer but I can't find it.

If Rebbie's signature is on it...that will be even better.

We are looking for ways to fight the misleading information being fed by the family and their accolytes to appease the media and continue this farece of family unity at the expense of MJ and his children.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

As I recall, most of those stories were written by Friedman's column. He had a source feeding him. You would probably want to check his past articles and the denial of intervention letter was sent to People magazine.

None of the girls signed it nor Randy.

The source were these people.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

I agree Memefan, this needs to stop! The fact that the family is willing to throw MJ under the bus is sad.. Without MJ, they would all still be in Gary Indiana somewhere, yet they don't have enough respect to help their brother even though he was killed. They know the hell MJ went through over the years and if they thought he was in deep depression or something they should've stopped at nothing to help him. Interventions have nothing to do with having emotional problems of being falsely accused and publicly ridiculed. If anything Mike needed emotional help and loving and caring but his family didn't provide it. I still can't get over Janet laughing and grinning days after MJ died. Her reaction alone made me vomit. I figured she was pissed about something and now we know. Leonard Rowe said she wanted MJ to tour with them and he refused so she got pissed and now this is her way of throwing him under the bus.

I can't stand her, Rebbie or Randy. They know they are lying. Why give up if you believe your brother is in danger? WTF???

I agree with Memefan we need to put an end to this farce and let the 'family' know we don't appreciate what they are doing to MJ. For my part I refuse to buy another family product again. I have not seen Colored Girls or WDIGM2 just because Janet is in it. I will never support her career again. As far as the other ones I won't be supporting them either. Their behavior is just ridiculous. When there is a DA and a lawyer by the name of Tom Mesereau who is supporting the victim more than the family, something is wrong.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

I saved it somewhere, just gotta check this monstrous MJ folder on my computer.

cool....

maybe we can send this to someone to counteract the family.. I remember reading the letter. It was in People mag but Roger Friedman also had it on his old board on Fox 411

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

I think I got them too (?).. they were recently posted on some board. I will try 2 find them.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Do you guys think there is any other show biz family that would throw their deceased son/brother under the bus as the Jackson's have?

I just go back to DJ AM overdosing with a crack pipe near by and I did not hear his family once throw him under the bus. DJ AM did not have a doctor in his house who was supposed to care for him either. Some of the drugs in his possession were illegal, hard core narcotics and his family didn't call him an addict and didn't talk about interventions, denials or nothing like that.

I wish MJ could've been shown the same respect.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

I have a PDF of an article Yahoo omg! posted that was originally from Access Hollywood about the family denying the interventions. The article link doesn't work anymore but if you prefer a screen capture, I'll see if I can turn into an picture file.

Yes the screen capture. We might be able to retrieve the original piece later on. Thanks.

The Jackson’s

People Magazine has followed other publications in reporting untrue and inaccurate information about Michael Jackson and the Jackson Family. Of these widely reported rumors, what has become the most troubling and heronious, is that my son, and our brother Michael Jackson is dependent on painkillers and alcohol.

People, and other news organizations, have quoted "sources" indicating that our family has attempted a drug intervention, and engaged in an effort to take over his business affairs, because of this alleged drug and alcohol usage.

We categorically deny ever planning, participating in, of having knowledge of any kind of intervention whatsoever. We strongly believe that these "sources" and others, no matter who they are, are making these defamatory, inaccurate, and untrue claims for monetary reasons.

Michael Jackson and the Jackson family has endured years of false accusations and misrepresentations.

It is time for these unfair and hurtful rumors for profit to end.

Thank you

Signed by
Tito Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Jermaine Jackson and Katherine Jackson"

I can't find the original at the moment.

According to Leonard Rowe, Rebbie didn't have a relationship with Michael in

2009.

Here's another link, can't find a copy of the open letter either.

Jackson family stands up for Michael

They dismiss reports of the singer’s alleged dependency on drugs

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson’s mother and four of his brothers have formed a united front in dismissing reports of his alleged dependency on pain killers and alcohol.

An open letter to the media, signed by Katherine Jackson and sons Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Jackie, responds to what the family views as “troubling and heinous” rumors about Michael.

An attempted drug intervention and takeover of Michael’s business affairs are among the rumors denied by the family in the letter, which also takes aim at quoted “sources” believed to be making false claims for profit.

A particular target of the letter is People magazine, which has published a story on Michael and his children in their Sept. 17 issue.

A rep for People magazine provided the following statement to “Access Hollywood”:
“We stand by our story. Throughout the process we gave Mr. Jackson’s rep, Raymone Bain, the opportunity to respond and we reported her comments.”

Below is the text of the letter, dated Sept. 7 and issued by Jackson’s rep, Raymone K. Bain:

“People magazine has followed other publications in reporting untrue and inaccurate information about Michael Jackson and the Jackson family. Of these widely reported rumors, what has become the most troubling and heinous, is that my son, and our brother, Michael Jackson, is dependent on painkillers and alcohol.
“People, and other news organizations, have quoted ‘sources’ indicating that our family has attempted a drug intervention, and engaged in an effort to take over his business affairs, because of this alleged drug and alcohol usage.

“Thank you.”

Thank you so much for doing something about this. Unfortunately I do not have any documents, but once you get them I will be helping as usual.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

the only interventions I know of are them trying to convince MJ to tour with them... oh snap

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

People who have passed to the other side are well aware of what
people continue to say and do about them on this side.
So, "The Jacksons" really need to stop telling lying about Michael Jackson.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

ok... so who are we going to send this too? I guess since Randy, Janet, Rebbie, Joe and LaToya didn't sign it, they were the ones attempting an alleged intervention right? and mind you MJ didn't have a painkiller or an ounce of alcohol in his body so once again what exactly were they intervening for?

Tito signed, yet he told the mirror to have taken part in an intervention, and

that Jackie was another of the participants. If they thought Michael to be

in need of help, how was that signed letter to the press denying it

supposed to help him? Why wasn't Katherine in the intervention if she

was closest to Michael, and why did she sign that letter if the family

was aware of a problem?

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

can we post the articles that claim there were 3 millions ANNUALLY went missing from MJ's accounts during the period Randy was in charge? Roger said that in 2004 , MJ sued in 2007 with similar claims .Can we post articles where the talk about mj's " chronic and severe addiction" issue was raised once MJ had a rift with his family? can we post articles with a timeline ? Can we have a theory of what really happened with evidnece and why the jacksons were calling him an addict before and after his death?

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Tito signed, yet he told the mirror to have taken part in an intervention, and
he mentioned being at the ranch so that was 03 at the latest

The article I have is the same article Pace posted earlier. I managed to save it as a image file if you still want it Memefan.

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

he just did what Randy did, instead of admitting MJ throw his behind out of his house due to his increased GREED he claimed it was because of MJ'a addiction . as usual "addiction" he never witnesses himself.

According to Roger back at Neverland, Tito and Jackie were fighting and the fights became physical , each one of them wanted to take control of MJ's affair, MJ was fed up with them both and asked the bodyguards not to allow them into Neverland again. They managed to get back when the trial started.

The family truly believed MJ was going to jail, a sibling even admitted to that after his death. if they were as clueless as they appear now, if they did not comprehend what Mez was doing in that courtroom, if they did not understand how the legal system works like they appear now with Murray's case, it is not extreme to assume they believed he was going to jail and everyone of them was trying to get closer to him so he/she would be incharge of his affairs once he went to jail.

According to Roger again, MJ cut ALL TIES WITH HIS FAMILY IMMEDIATLEY AFTER THE TRIAL a clear indication he was so fed up with them during the trial , and in the later years the relationship did not get better at all , rarely he met them even before he got his passport back , Randy could not find him and blamed Grace for the rift with his brother, later he blamed it on "drugs Grace fed"

We know unlike what people with clear agendas say, MJ was not ungrateful person, if they were that supportive as they claim they are, he would not have pushed them out of his life as early as June of 2005 , and went MIA for years , asked bodygurads not to aloow anyone of them in his house but Katherine , then years later appeared on a family meeting for an hour

Re: The Jacksons and their many many many interventions

Memefan, thank you for this thread, and thanks everyone for providing the information. Unfortunately, I don't have any articles saved, so I can't help in that. But I'll help with whatever I can.

You are so right about this. I experienced this after my dad died and he spoke to me in a dream. They really do see what we do and know what we say. That is why when I was a child there was a unspoken rule that you do not speak ill of the dead. However, I do not know if JW's believe in this.
