The case was in Mj estate flavour so if the settle then it must mean they get a good offer,

This is not only a matter of PPB being compensated. What about all of the money this organization in effect stole by being fraudalent. Are all of those people going to get their money back? And most importantly, what about all that MJ fought for? It's like saying everything this woman did to him was ok because everyone can have a share in the money (if that is the agreement) now.

I'm sick of katherine. I'm sick of this foundation. I'm sick of the Estate. I'm sick of everybody. They are always riling the fans up to fight for MJ and for his legacy to be let down by everyone involved time and again. It's not worth it.

I can't belive Branca actually settle the case.
I guess the Mann/Johnson using KJ as hostage works.
I have to say I am really disappointed that it means Howard Mann wins in certain way.
I really want to know what's the settlement about.
All of these made me sick. John Branca should not back off because both Johnson and Mann are shady people.

I feel your frustration, but maybe...just maybe, Prince, Paris and Blanket aren't being left out of this. Mann and his items are a player in this saga. The kids weren't getting anything in regards to any profits from those items. Only Katherine, per her contract, was making money from the association with Mann. IF...big IF...the Estate has found a way for this merger to financially benefit them (which includes the kids) as well as fund the charity, then the kids aren't really being robbed, per se.

I do wonder if Joe and Randy are still on the Board of Directors or if it's only Katherine now?

If all of them are still on the board then odds are it should be MUCH quieter in Jacksonland. *small applause* If they got cut out of this deal, we'll prolly be hearing about it soon. Translation: Keep an eye out on Randy's Twitter page.

IF Mann/Johnson are affiliated in anyway with HTWF, HTWF is not an charitable organization I'd be interested in supporting in any fashion.
I don't have much, but what I do have and donate does not go to organizations that I know in advance have unsavory folks like Johnson and Mann at the helm.

That DANG Melissa Johnson still being involved leaves a bad taste in my mouth. BUT......

it appears that with the registered trademarks being transferred to the Estate, Howard Mann is out of business. LOL! He was counting on using those trademarks in order to hawk his ware. (I could be wrong, but right now, that's the way I see it.) As a matter of fact, I believe he paid Melissa Johnson, in advance, so that he could use those trademarks.

Well, at least Mann is left in the cold.

But I do not want the kid's money to be used to reimburse Mann..because he did pay that fake charity's debt & was footing their legal bill.

Can't agree more. I don't mind the estate take over HTWF.
However, it's hard for me to trust a charity with Johnson and Mann involved.
They better fire her ASAP.

I think it's interesting that we aren't hearing his name mentioned anywhere in these settlement tidbits. I'm curious as to what his role in all this is or remains to be. He paid for Melissa's legal fees, etc. solely for the benefit of profiting off the trademarks. I can't imagine him simply walking away from this with nothing. Should be interesting to find out where he fits in all this.

IF Howard Mann is truly left out in the cold, he is gonna be one mad son of a biscuit. Katherine Jackson is going to have to find a way to APPEASE Mr. Mann, or he will be coming after her next, in my opinion.

P.S. I have NO plans on supporting this "NEW" Heal The World Foundation either.

I know that the Estate taking over is a good thing overall and they probably didn't want to fight Katherine because it could have been ugly. Still, just the name Melissa Johnson makes me cringe and I can't bring myself to cheer on this charity if she's onboard.

In my opinion, Howard Mann is going to want the money he laid out BACK. I don't see him just walking away after thinking he was going to be able to use those registered trademarks to his financial benefit, and now it "appears" as if he has been shut out.

SOMEBODY is going to have to pay for that! Will it be Katherine Jackson or somebody else?

Wouldn't it be nice if Katherine Jackson in an honest way did devote herself to charitable works in the name of her son, Michael Jackson. Then we could stop worrying about her.

Even if she did have a change of heart, I would not and could not be moved by such a thing. As far as I'm concerned, there is a sort of DAMAGING EFFECT over the entire thing, because of how it all went down.

I just found the whole think sneaky and underhanded. Two things I just can't forget! ESPECIALLY when we are talking about CHARITY.

Even though the new update Marc_vivien posted from TMZ seems favorable and establishes most of what MJ Estate wanted in the lawsuit (control of the trademarks), I personally will not support any HTWF as long as Melissa Johnson continues to be involved in it.

and I hope my above sentences are read by the people who have attacked us as "Branca Fans" or "on payroll on Estate" etc, because it shows you that we aren't and if we don't agree with the Estate's decisions we will tell it like it is.

I wouldnt be so quick to think that Mann has been shut out...he paid all her legal fees..he is going to wait and be compensated. Mann is evil and underhanded I am sure he is lurking in the background waiting for this court date to be over...no doubt he will somehow worm his way in with Johnson...even if he is still her silent partner ..from a distance

All they care about is making business and money. Both sides. That's it.
The estate doesn't care for what fans think or for Michael as a person. They never did. It's just business for them. How many more proof do we need?
