Michael - The Great Album Debate

Yeah, i love Luis Miguel. I could never hear him singing a song like that one.

To me, Soldier Boy is the worst. :puke: I heard it once and deleted the file afterward.

Burn Tonight reminds me a lot of Korean Pop (which is heavily influenced by boybands like N'Sync). The song sounds like a song a group of four young guys can dance and lipsync to. It's definitely catchy. I can imagine young girls scream their lungs out when the boyband perform the song with some suggestive dance moves.

Burn Tonight is not a song I'll put on repeat. Actually, I'm curious to know how often people listen to the album MICHAEL now. The album was released almost eight months ago. The initial excitement is settling down by now.

Don't listen to it much, only really listen to Best Of Joy and Hollywood Tonight on occasion. Hold My Hand gets a few plays, too, I keep thinking I need to listen to that song more, I love it.

Other than those three, The Way You Love Me and Behind the Mask are really the only other ones I enjoy.

Never really liked Another Day(not a fan of Kravitz). Much Too Soon is just not my style, really. Then there's the three Cascio songs and I think that's the entire album. :lol:

So, meh... They could have released Best Of Joy and Hollywood Tonight as singles without an entire album and I'd have been satisfied.

Well, I think the initial excitement died down when Breaking News was streamed...Honestly, even the most fervent believers were pretty much on their own in enjoying the 'excitement' of the new album and what not. Some like to blame the doubters and skeptics for the lack of enthusiasm and the overall damper on the whole situation, but we all know that's not true. Of course, there is negativity coming from both sides. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that there was/is something seriously wrong with the tracks and how this entire album campaign has been handled. Totally lacklustre even IF the tracks were real, shoddy promotion and ongoing controversy that I believe will continue for a long, long time. :( Who would have thought this was gonna happen? :(
 
You know, i enjoy the MICHAEL album. I Listen to Hold My, and the Bircheys mix of Hollywood tonight alot. I also must cofess....i do listen to Monster. If there was a Cascio song that could be Michael Jackson....its monster...but its a cascio song so i have my doubts.

See, I'm the exact opposite...When I heard BN and KYHU, I didn't hear Michael..But, I wanted to give Monster a chance and MAYBE, just MAYBE I'd hear Michael..When I finally heard the full Monster, I was like, 'Ok, this is an entire person altogether! It's so obvious!' That was even before I heard any comparisons, or even thought of the possibility that it could be Jason. I had no familiarity with Jason's voice at all. But Monster reminded me of someone...hmmm....lol...Definitely NOT Michael...That song sorta cemented it all for me. I just couldn't embrace that voice as Michael Jackson. Anytime I hear it I'm like, 'No effing way' ..
 
I remember waking up REALLY early to hear BN, oh boy I was so confused. I still am today, I just can't stomach it

Eh, I just took the suggestion that Love had. I thought it sounded dynamic and sleazy enough :p Besides, I like to think that since I went into a relationship and was subsequently dropped from it, I'm not that shy anymore. You can test me for shyness if you wanna :naughty:
