Michael Jackson's children have been offered a reality show, according to reports.

The King of Pop's three kids; Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and nine-year-old Blanket could soon be appearing on the small screen.

In Touch claims that television network E! has approached the family about having cameras follow the lives of the late star's offspring.

But a source has told the publication that the Thriller star would not be happy if it went ahead because he tried so hard to keep their lives out of the media spotlight.

'He tried to shield the kids from the public eye but they seem to want to do it,' the insider said. 'f a deal can be worked out, it will happen next year.'

The children are being raised by Michael's mother Katherine Jackson. She will reportedly soon receive a $30 million pay day through the Michael Jackson Trust.

The star's estate made $310 million up to December last year through record and merchandise sales.

wow, erm..what can I say? I think it's better to wait it out, and see if there's any truth to this story before we get our feathers ruffled. And if there is, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised either, with all that has happened with that family.
 
These children were shielded all of Michael's life. If you are respecting Michael's Legacy, keep it that way.

It's horrible that this kind of news even exist.
Paris maybe like the attention but obvious those 2 boys don't like it especially Blanket.
 
nothing would surprise me with that family but ill presume this is just tabloid B.S
 
^^this better be just a stupid tabloid rumor. Prince and Paris maybe old enough to choose and if i remember correct MJ once said if they'd one day wanted to go in public he'd tell them cons and pros and then let them choose. but Blanket is much too young and i hardly believe anyone have explained it to these kids what being in the public can do to you.
 
I am not buying it.

The Jacksons are just getting back at us for that M.J.A.N letter. They are selling these ridiculous stories to the tabloids because they know fans will be up in arms...
 
Even Prince and Paris are not old enough to choose at 13 and 14 you do whatever your parents tell you to do, in this case whatever Katherine wants them to do, they didn't want to go on Oprah yet Katherine made sure they appeared there that's how it works. At 13 Michael did not choose to give one concert after the other, Joseph beat him to do so.
 
For now, I'm calling this a B.S. tabloid story. Nothing more.

Seriously, they would be in a reailty show doing WHAT? Getting ready for school, going to school and doing homework after school. LOL!

true but they are teens and on some level may volunteer to do this. (like paris deciding to make speech on the memorial). i'm not explaining myself well but hope you get what i mean. regardless if the story is true its wrong.

The backlash towards Katherine Jackson would be swift and VERY HARSH.

In my opinion, even the folks who didn't like Michael would be against such a move. I mean, whether you were a fan or not, EVERYBODY saw the lengths Michael went to in order to protect the privacy of his 3-children.

One thing I will say is that Katherine and Joe Jackson are STILL looking for that really big payday. Since Michael passed away, they have dabbled in this and that, but the really big payday has alluded them thus far. That being said, I still can't see them agreeing to something like a REALITY SHOW for Michael's children.

maybe i could take them round the hosptial i was born in and the house i lived in in cardiff. that would be fun for u all LOL

yeah I do I think they'll be more approachable to this kind of thing. but as of now I just think this is bs though I wouldn't surprised if it wasn't. but let's see.
 
Truly hope this is complete BS... but I can see Katherine saying to the kids ''it could be good for the family, they would see you are normal kids and well taken care of and would continue to love us all...

Them doing something like this would hurt their future plans for an acting career. It's just too much over exposure.

It doesn't surprise me that they have been approached, just look at the interest in them. I just hope that KJ says no.
 
I hope this is just a rumour. I think Michael would have at least wanted them to be 18 or 21. I know it really is out of my hands...:(
 
I hope the jackson family is smarter than that. look what the media did to michael.

And how do you know they didn't want to go on Oprah? Oh that's right, you don't.
 
Hope is a lie...O_O Nothin good comes out of reality shows. not one! They purposely edit things to make it more entertaining. So u can only imagine and it's not healthy to have a camera in ur face 24/7.
