Michael - The Great Album Debate

I've made up my mind. It has taken almost a year but it's better than me not realising at all. I've removed the "authentic" tag. I think I'll keep the "soldier boy > tdcau" one up though. :p

:D

Eddie has really done a lot for Michael and the fans this past year, hasn't he?

He gave us, 12 wonderful songs. They are to die for, Michael sounded his best. The songs are sooo good we dont even need any proof that Mike is on them. Eddie sure knows how to please the fans.

Yes, yes he would. The Michael Album was handled with sooo much TLC.
In fact, if anymore albums are handled with as much TLC that MIchael was. I just wont buy it! My friends will do the same. I hope Sony can see how pleased we are :)

Yes, I'm sure Michael would be as pleased as we are!

I'm sure that he's ecstatic that his friends of 25 years are being vilified.

in case some can't understand : I'm being sarcastic.

If another album comes out with Cascio songs on it, I think it'll be a lot worse of a reaction because the emotions have built up.

:p I'm sure he feels the same when sometimes his own mother is also being vilified.
:Sarcasm mode on:

They won't be stupid enough to put Cascio songs on another album (even if they are real), it would just result in a disaster for them

They apparently are. Our inside sources tell us that they're planning on putting on Burn Tonight, Water and All Right on the next album.

Wait....Sarcasm mode off for a sec....are they really even considering putting Cascio Tracks on the next album? WTF? Michael or not, they arent in useable condition.

Yup, two members here with sources have confirmed it.

Why is it okay to release fabricated songs from barely there demos? Just because it's a posthumous release? How is it honoring and upholding Michael's legacy?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Cascio Controversy Thread)

The compared vocals aren't identical. 100% fact. Know why? Because you're comparing two completely different vocals. :D

The Jason Malachi vocals sound younger, less dynamic, and his breath is shorter.

Jackson's takes on the Cascio tracks show lots of different dynamics that Malachi would never think of. He uses his voice in obvious signature ways.

Go listen to Malachi music. In my opinion, none of his tracks even compare to the Cascio tracks in melody, lyrics, attitude, etc.

lol going way back on this post here...but...NOW Let me Let Go and Monster have been compared.
And in this early post it stated that Jason has inferior technique to Michael.

Anyways.....

Yup, two members here with sources have confirmed it.

Well F*** me sideways. -.- {am i allowed to say that even with ***?]
and I understand Burn Tonight, and Water...but honestly...all Right? that sounds so weak....compared to other Cascio tracks.

Uh what, lol you're quoting me there, being an idiot.

When that happens, then I know FOR SURE they really don't care about (the artist) Michael Jackson, but they just want the moneymachine Michael Jackson to keep on running. No one is making me believe that Sony/The Estate don't know how matters stand with these songs.

If they want to put the Cascio tracks to use...give the beat and lyrics to another artist and THEY can sing them, by themselves. Im sure Justin Beiber would just die to sing Burn Tonight, or Black Widow. -.-

Its ok. We all have a Malachi Moments.

That's because we believe wholeheartedly that they have stabbed Michael in the back. I don't see them doing much to set the record straight.

The tracklisting for the next album, which has to be at least a year away has not been confirmed, and whatever songs Sony want to use will have to be authorised by the Estate. You would think, from a purely economic perspective, that they would have the brains not to use them, but it should be noted that Sony have, just recently more than ever, gone to great lengths to protect these songs. That being said, other songs that would presumably be in consideration, are continuing to be made available on youtube and other places with little to no reaction from Sony. Make of that what you will. I hope that these songs never see the light of day, but that being said, if they were to use all 9 on the next album, then at least people would see them for what they are. There is no way that songs like All Right, Fall In Love, Ready 2 Win, Burn 2Nite and Water could be officially relased as Michael Jackson songs without an extremely negative reaction.

The following video shows someone flipping through the Immortal Tour programme. It's quite a nice programme with a double page spread for the Bad, Dangerous and History Tours (apart from them mistakenly using a pic from Royal Brunei (YANA) and one from a Bad Tour Smooth Criminal performance in the Dangerous Tour section.) They have then dedicated pages to each of the main songs in the show. Why am I posting this here? Well pause the video at 1:49 and you'll see. Although to give them then the benefit of the doubt, the programmes were probably printed before the changes were made. But still, it shouldn't be there.

I paused and looked at that moment a couple times and didn't notice anything peculiar? :(
