MJJC saw fit to boycott the Cardiff tribute show because of the opinions of some fans who had concerns, but the controversy over the Michael album was a far bigger deal last year - the whole fanbase was split and many fans were up in arms and (rightfully) disgusted with Frank Cascio. And now MJJC thinks it's okay to plug his latest money-making scam as if nothing ever happened? I'm sorry, but it's wrong and it's an insult to Michael and the fans on this board who believe in preserving the integrity and credibility of Michael Jackson's music.

When the contoversary by those tracks are far more damaging then any karaoke tribute can ever be and Frank supported Eddie aswell as the rest of the Cascio's on the Oprah show. So it's a fair comparison in my book. IMO
not even remotely close comparison. First of all MJJC was neutral about Cardiff concert till the addition of Simmons, secondly it wasn't some fans - it was almost all fans and thirdly even when we wrote that letter Katherine and MJ's kids attendance was totally omitted from the letter intentionally. We were able to keep her separate from it.
you have to accept that the Cascio song debate is a topic that the fans are torn and similarly to how we kept Katherine and MJ's kids out of the Cardiff letter, Frank and his book can be kept separate from his brother and songs as they are two different human beings and two different things.
Nothing much new in that article that we didn't already know, and these are only snippits and I would be interested to read the whole account.
Well, the media usually go with the juiciest bits.
until we can see in what context these various sentences represent then imo it is still hard to judge the book overall. We have all be around long enough to know that any media article will pick up on the most sensational aspect.
^^^ Until the book is out we don't know whether or not Frank is actually explaining those revelations and maybe (I don't know) putting a different perspective on them.
I don't know how this book is going to be but I am not prepared to judge and damn it into hell untill I know more about the content.

As a Michael Jackson fan we all should know by now how media approached to the subject - by picking the most sensationalized parts. Well they picked the escape plan from Jermaine's book , didn't they? And I read it, that was one page thing on a 300+ book. You are doing the same here , acting like media. The book is 336 pages and you are given one sentence picked from the book without the beginning and the end and assume you know everything.

he got propofol before - what do you think Ratner was for? during a 2001 fraud lawsuit Ratner was asked about his treatment of Michael. CNN and defense mentioned him and Propofol in detail.

Now, on tour, and
again in deep physical pain, Michael turned back to those drugs, - legit reason , it wasn't for high , he had pain.
Jackson had taken
Demerol to treat the skin disease vitilogo, and grew worried about his drug use. - again legit use for skin procedures. and Michael wasn't doing his own skin treatments right? So he got worried that Klein was giving Michael too much demerol - oh the evil Cascio how dare him.
I had grown accustomed to seeing doctors coming and going, particularly in late tours, when Michael
was under great stress and needed help falling asleep. - again he had reasons for the drugs and doctors.
and 2001 30th anniversary drug issue was so apparent and again it has already been said by Karen Faye 2 years ago, Jermaine wrote in his book that family talked to him at that time, Latoya said they went to the ranch after that concert, Gest also collaborated it - but let's hate Frank saying something that has been said 10 times before and trying to get help for Michael.
